Well...because it seems that I have spent far too much time recently on this board discussing all kinds of issues of Mass Effect, it might have influenced my perception on certain things. So watching the movie I started to see all kinds of "references"to our beloved ME-series...
Of course this is meant not too seriously, but I wonder if I am the only one having some "Masseffect"-Moments watching the movie....
There is mentioned "Dark Energy"
People get "turned" (indoctrinated), and watch for their eyes!
There is a massive ray of blue light opening a portal in the sky above an invaded city...you know...like a conduit?
Massive battle raging in the streets against...well...either armored creatures or ... half-synthetics marauders and worms (though no cuttlefish!)
I truly redommend watching "retake-Earth-trailer" before this movie! I had to think about this during the whole final of the movie! It was good fun!
Last but not least...it has the one and ONLY response to a self-proclaimed god we all would love to see in the current ending...
