  • More eye colors (i.e. purple eyes)

  • More hair colors (i.e. blue or dark purple hair, Im sure they have invented hair dye by now)

  •  Being able to change height and build (not all people are the same height and weight)

  • More hair styles (i.e. warrior mohawks)

  • More tattoos

  • Please fix the weird looking ears

  • More facial hair options

If you do this Bioware, I'm sure more people won't care if we can choose our race or not. Please and thank you!

Mine most wanted are definitely - natural long hairs, no crappy army cuts or elaborated/curled up hair, that's just isn't fantasy anymore, it more fits to settings like Deus Ex or Mass Effect, but in fantasy women should in 99% wear a long hairs. And some of the men too(like Vikings-type guys do, or elves usually)

Just look at any fantasy - like LOTR movie - Galadriel, Arwen, Eowen, etc... all of them got long hairs. Even Legolas got LONG Hairs. In fact even the artworks for Dragon Age Origins had long hairs.

To be fair, DA2's facial hair was already a progress from DAO's hobo beards.

Anyway, see "making of" videos of Dragon's Dogma for  a good example of character customization.

These are excellent suggestions and I would love to see them implemented in DA3. For my part, however, I would still care about choosing races should the suggested customization options be included in the game. I want to have race options back in DA3 very much...IMO having additional choices like these would make me want them even more! I like the height and build idea very much, greekmonkey95 :)

Scars. Not just any scars though. I want scars which are long and deep and they shouldn't be gender specific as they were in Mass Effect 1. You should be able to give a female character a terrible scar. Asides from scars, I hope we can create a character with Heterochromia iridum (one eye being a different colour from the other). Dragon's Dogma is the only game I can think of which includes this as an option.

Back to scars again and I hope we can have scar which makes one of the eyes blind like this:

I agree, I'd definitely love to see more hairstyles, tattoos, and some scars (which look the same for both sexes, not 'pretty scars' for women and 'badass scars' for men).

At the very least, having Morrigan and default femHawke's hair in the CC shouldn't be a problem. I mean, Morrigan's hair turns up on NPCs all the time in DA2, so why not on the main character?

I think the game could use a few more eye shapes/eyebrow shapes too. Four is a very small number.

The men could also use better beards, with less clipping, and which don't look like face-plastic. The hair texture from ME3 was rather nice, though I don't think that had beards.

The darker skin tones could use a bit of improvement too. The lighter brown skin has a strange metallic sheen to it, whilst the darkest skin has a strange matte/powdery texture.

*Facial structure sliders in the editor.
We know they're here. The DAO toolset had them. The various DA2 presets have different shapes. why are they not accessible though sliders ?

*Also, for males, opacity sliders for the different levels of stubble. Like in the toolset.
*Also ability to blend in two face textures... like with the toolset. (this allows you to create a face texture that isn't completely smooth or completely wrinkled, but varying degrees of in-between, for example)
*Completely user-defined hair and eye colors (R/G/B ?).
*Built-in support for facial scars. (could only be done with mods)
*Facial expressions on portrait, like in DAO.
*Also bigger portraits in-game and much higher resolution portraits as forum avatars, like in DAO. Just because PC users can cheat the system and have the game upload whatever you want instead of your portait doesn't mean it shouldn't have been better.
*As stupid as it may sound, makeup options for male characters (lipstick, blush eyeliner). Yes it will be used to make tranny-looking troll characters, I dont care, people do what they want with their single-player game. For the rest of us, it's actually useful *in very small amounts* to make some facial features stand out more when appropriate, and you know it because your artists do it too.

That's all for now.

I kinda like a slider I saw in another game, I think the slider was "hormones", so you could basically make a bishounen type guy or a manly looking woman and anywhere in between.

How is that weird?  In RL you have some men that look effeminate, some women who look manly, and others who are andrygonous.

I understand the whole "give everyone a chance" I actually enjoyed deafult LadyHawke looking like total Lesbian-chow. but this is just asking for trouble. What I'm getting is I'll be able to play DA3 with an Obesse 7 foot bald scared up woman with a beard. Sometimes less is more

More hairstyles - please please please!! I think male hairstyles got better, there were some pretty good ones, but long hairstyles especially for girls was very mediocre.

And why were the specific eyes/eyebrows/hair for the presets in DA2? This really annoyed me as I had to restrict myself to using mods if I wanted a similar, but not identical look to the presets. Plus, next time can we please alter the default presets??

I felt like there were more sliders in DAO (in lips especially i think), why they were taken out? If anything there should be more so that we can create our own really unique looks.

Someone said this before, but height/body mass sliders would be fantastic. I know it may be difficult in terms of armour, but it's not impossible, and would be a great addition to the customisation.

Having two different coloured eyes would be awesome! I'd also like to see long hairstyles and Prettier up styles, rather than just A ponytail or the infamous bun of steel lol.

... And please for the love of the Maker improve ears in DA3, DA2's ear design actually made me feel kinda ill. :-S
