This is merely me being curious, and I hope I could get some confirmation either way on this issue =) I know that any possible remnants of Exalted March being used in The Next Thing will have received rewriting, thus if it was confirmed that Hawke was meant to be the protagonist in EM that does in no way confirm that Hawke would be coming back. If we would have imported our Hawkes, were there plans to have an equivalent of an "Orlesian Warden" if we didn't import? (understandably it might be impossible to say what such a character would have been, to avoid talking too much about EM though)
I'm damned curious =)
Was Hawke meant to be in Exalted March?

That's probably a lot more plot relevant (and thus harder to answer) than the question I stated. Nevertheless, let's see if you get a response~~ =)

I think Hawke faded into the blurry lines of history, alongside the Warden.

The exalted march was going to be staring Hawke's malicious twin brother Bawke

I would think an expansion would include the protagonist from the main game. In Awakening they included the Warden whether he/she was alive or died at the final battle. That doesn't mean they would do the same thing twice but it makes sense, given the ending of DA2, that Hawke would have returned. Bah... thinking about this is making me sad.

Yeah, they're both parts of Flemeth's Disappearing Brigade, but that doesn't happen until years after the end of DA2 it seems. So I wonder if Hawke was meant to be around for Exalted March...Vincent Laww wrote...

Morrigan was my warden's LI, so I am assuming that when he walked through the mirror with her, the book was left with the Dalish elf that accompanied him there.

I had also wondered about that, as Hawke's circumstances can be radically different depending on which side you picked at the end of DA2.
I imagine it would be difficult to write a storyline that would involve either the viscount of Kirkwall or a fugitive on the run.
