It feels weird and wrong regardless of alignment, really. And no, short of romancing or killing either one of them, you can't stop them from hooking up. Which is sad.

But it'll be on the map that they're in the Battery Room together so even if we don't go in there we know what's going on.
In fact if Shepard doesn't go in there and catch them then who know what they'll get up to

And why does the idea of two consenting adults getting intimate before the battle of a lifetime (theoretically, we all know how ****** poor it was) bother you?
What they do is their own damned business, you have no right to tell them what they can/cannot do.

I find it more strange than anything else, if you're not romancing them who cares who they hook up with? And even if you are renegade why would a renegade give a damn one way or the other?

Tbh I missed that in my first (and only) playthrough. And I am glad I did. Not because I hate them being happy, but there is a reason I didn't romance Tali. Well, aside from Liara. Simply they could not have children. It would be better for them to romance someone ... matching. I don't know why they suddenly fall in love either. I mean there was never any tension or anything and suddenly for no reason ... bam. Blah bad writing etc rant. I really don't know why I bother with Bioware or this forum still. It just shows me again and again why I shouldn't be here or play their games at all.
