I have the PC version of Dragon Age 2. and have installed the game in my new lap to. However, It continues to validate and won't launch the game. Please reply with how i should resollve this issue.

My current system is as follows:

Once you get past whatever is wrong for the site's validation function, you will have to dial down all visuals. The HD 7450 is essentially the same exact card as the HD 6450, which puts it below the minimum:

Bioware does not maintain any forum oversight here. This is strictly Gamer to Gamer, with official support at EA. Bioware also doesn't perform repairs (apparently) on weekends.

There is a sizable little mob of unhappy types who seem to have validation trouble the last few days for whom there is almost no hardware information offered. It could vaguely be possible, however, I really doubt it's a factor.

The HD 6450 and HD 7450 were designed as entry level graphics, useful for business charts, graphs, presentations, spreadsheets, web surfing, and OLDER games such as Neverwinter Nights 2. They will play this game, just not particularly well.

Fortunately you won't witness how your laptop struggles with DA2 because of the mentioned validation issue. :)
For the record, I am unable to understand the idea behind this validating thing - I mean, the game itself is bound to my Origin account with my valid serial number so why should it validate also if I start up from Origin?... nevermind.

Apparently it's an issue at THEIR end according to the email they sent me. They're aware of it and are working on it... and have been doing so for FOUR days! Very frustrating, I'm wanting to play too.

DA2 works well enough on a Radeon HD 7450. My graphics were on high detail. dx 11  but aa and anisotropic were 2x. pretty smooth. Not max settings but good enough. its not so bad at all.
