Is there any non-magical means of getting through stoneskin besides just hacking over and over at the mage?

I don't think so, but you could use Area Effect spells to burn, freeze, electrify, poison, etc. the turkey. Perhaps Carsomyr's dispell magic ability might help when you have the sword.

Depends what you call magical. Elemental damage goes through so a weapon like flail of ages is useful for interrupting mages. The stun effect from darts is another helpful option - the 3 basic attacks per round from darts also help wear down the stoneskin quickly.

Magic Missile is also a good spell against stoneskins, as each missile takes away one stoneskin.
