I've just been playing the game for a few hours, but I was wondering, what level do you become when you finish the game?  So that way I get a better idea of how to plan my build.

without dlc, ~level 24 for end-game.
with dlc, ~level 30 at end-game.

if you somewhat prioritise your build, most setups will be pretty much complete by level 17-20 which corresponds to mid-to-end of act 2. Everything past there is extra.. fluff. haha

My longest playthrough was level 26. It lasted 82 hours. Otherwise I think it was in the early twenties for a playthrough.

For me, ~lv 26-27 by the end of the game. After Legacy and MotA, post-game, lv 30.

If planning ahead, try to have your build "complete" around lv 20-24. Don't forget that there are items that give you free talents and attributes. A lv 30 character could have ~34 talents.

Level 20 when I completed the game...I think I'm Level 24 after both DLCs, but I might be Level 23.

Bearing in mind that I didn't play the game intending to complete every quest.

Level 23-ish, I think. After Legacy and Mark of the Assassin, it went up to 26.

wow, either I out sped you or didn't do any of the side quests you guys did. On my firthst playthroug (Warrior) I was around level 24, but last night I beat it again (Force/Elemental Mage) and I was only level 19 after killing Meredith >_> I wish the next DA they make once you beat all bosses you can go through any act to any quest you forgot for a 100% complete rating. kinda boring how onceyou beatit on a character that chracter pretty much dies and you start all over agian.

Oh my...someone seriously missed out on a lot of quests.

hah, no kiddin. I got most of them on my Warrior though. and on my next mage (put up a request for epic Blood Mage equipment) I plan on doing every quest possible and seeing how high I hit. To be honst I was worried that I wouldn't be tough enough to wield the Champion armor before Meredith. but thanks to Osino, he boosted me to 19 and i was able to put it on and look awesome for the final show down

25 without DLC, 27 with my last playthrough when I did Legacy in act 3.

By doing numerous playthroughs, every single quest possible, using every Tome and level booster there is (but NO cheats, mods or exploits) and MotA and Legacy DLC's, I've always reached level 28 and so far I've not been able to go any higher.
