it would help me greatly if someone answered this. I have heard that you need three same pieces of armor to gain the armor bonus, but also have only seen the three peices not being the helmet is this true? i want to decide how i should wear the juggernaut armor:alien:

Yes you are correct. The helm doesn't count in the 3 pieces.

It's written in the description. The helmet is supposedly required for the juggernaut set to get the bonus (though I didn't bother to check this right now)

Oh hmm... Ok then I might be wrong about the juggernaut set but on other sets, the helm is not necessary. (good choice there since most of the helms don't look all that pretty).
I do however find that the Juggernaut set bonus is useful only on boss fights as all the stats are based on resist elements.
