I like MP ok, but for several reasons I find it really annoying. It takes about 20 minutes to complete a mission. If I don't wear a mic, someone complains, but most games I get into I get the real pleasure of listening to people chew, talk on the phone, one guy vomited, another coughed up a hairball the size of a poodle from the sound of it, others make out with someone, babies crying, dogs barking constantly, and so on. Yes, I just love mics.
Then, you use credits for packs and they suck-I don't use a shotgun, so every rail amp I get is for a shotgun. I don't play as an Engineer and so, I get level up points for the Engineer-my Engineer went from level 1 to 15 without me ever playing it. I get garbage in packs so I really can't see paying for them.
After deciding upon equipment to use, waiting 5 minutes for people to ready up, messaging one guy to do so, the game starts, and someone gets kicked-server problem or they just don't like being last or something. And then, maybe 2 of us are left and the other guy leaves, so it's just me. I might last a few waves, but having to hack something or kill specific targets gets me, so the mission fails and I lose the equipment I used.
Then, there are the mission bugs and so on, and it's not just a few 20 minute missions anymore.

Thanks for that. Who knows what its fate shall be it seems to be almost completely random these days - they will lock threads talking about gameplay difficultly but not polls about how much people feel Bioware lied.

And people wonder why so many have no interest in MP. Those images are enough to ensure I never join a MP community.
The whole system is BS. "It's being looked into." Yeah, right. If it really were, a patch modifying the values to make 4K attainable would have already been released. They're just dragging their feet, hoping they can manipulate enough people into playing to justify its development.

To be honest dek i dont think we need the video. If you look at his facebook screen shot its obvious he's promoted through MP, the alliance assets are way to high.
I just checked one of my older metagame saves where i was working to try and get the max possible EMS and my alliance assets stand at 1729, and that INCLUDES some MP promoting. I have seven complete playthroughs (surprising really with my feelings about Bioware and the ending lol) and i have NEVER hit an EMS of 4000.
This was also checked in offline mode and the N7 promotions still show, i got the impression he thinks they dont.
His video should be good for a laugh though

Oh I know, but we've tried every other way to convince him. 4 complete playthoughs with 6 more holding before HQ.
I guess the saddest part is its the principal for me, I have an iPad.

Will pick up the EC then I think I'm done I just don't think Bioware is worth the bother anymore.

TMS of slightly under 7k so if you hadn't played multiplayer you would have an EMS of ~3k5. This only proves that you need to look up TMS vs. EMS I'm afraid. But thanks for providing the video.

Total miltitary strength=6991, not 8000
If you make GR 50%' EMS 3496
Therefore, our have not achieved your goal.

doesnt mater... tms is not what you need its the EMS and as i said before the pic on face book that i took of just after i did destroy shows more tms and ems and once again i had no mp on that play thru other wise promoting would be shown in the game just like i said...
so yes its is proof that you dont need it and the video i also said that my ems and tms was lowered from the pic shown so yes its offically that you can get over 4k with out mp and that war assets are indeed bugged
i will post what everyou wish to shown but once again dont troll me on the games i played i played 5 times on my fem shep and 1 time and one time on insanity not ng with out mp this is all i have to say proof was given and regardless of what you say abpout the proof thrown in you faces that IT IS POSSIBLE to get it

LOL! So you have 6991 TMS. If you play Single Player only, your galactic readiness stays at 50%. So divide 6991 by 2 (50% of TMS) to get your EMS: 3495. So you are wrong. Had you played SP only, you would have less than 4000. Case and point.
I think you're confused with your GR. You do not need to promote in MP to increase your GR. Playing MP is enough, as playing MP without promoting raises the percentage. Promoting raises your Alliance assets (included in TMS).
So in your video, your GR is 94%, instead of the 50% it would have been had you been playing SP only. Which is why your EMS shows 6571.
Again, for the millionth time, if you play SP only your GR stays stuck at 50%. Meaning you have to divide your TMS by 2 to get your Single Player only EMS. So in your case, 3495.
Do you get it now?

This is why i never play MP anymore. After 130 N7 levels, the frustrations of no text chat, EA server server disconnects mid-game, player disconnects ending games, and getting useless gear in unlocks became too much to bear. After playing MP constantly in the demo, i had already experienced most of its repetitive fun
During singleplayer, i did notice it was not possible for me to get a high enough EMS. But i went and finished the game anyway
At the moment i get my multiplayer fix from Tribes Ascend, I even pay real money for unlocks as i really like the work theyre doing and how they communicate with their community

as i said before... what do people have selective hearing and reading? i said GR infects games regardless ONCE you plugged the game in to mp iot will infect all games!! regardless so youre wrong

EMS= TMS * GR%
so if you hadn't played multiplayer:
EMS=7000*50%
=3500
as you have played multiplayer:
EMS = 7000*94%
EMS = 6580
Get how it works?

Nice. That actually proves your incorrect. These values are different from your facebook screen for a start and your EMS is only over 4000 here because you have played multiplayer and your readiness rating is 94%
Its obvious in the facebook screen shot you have promoted multiplayer characters as your alliance asset rating is far too high. Either that or its bugged (ie assets from other playthroughs are being counted)
To be fair Raven i think the issue is that you dont really understand how the GR, TMS and EMS ratings work. Again it has been proven, using data from the actual game code that there isnt enough war assets in the single player game to get an EMS rating of 4000, or a TMS rating of 8000 if that helps clarify it.
Even Bioware themselves have acknowledged this.
Kudos for trying to prove your point but i am afraid you are 100% wrong. Not an opinion, its fact.
