Equally surprising they don't respond to PMs about it.

In fact they only things they are doing are locking down threads that say things they don't want to hear and trying to sell us shoes ('cause you know shoes are what makes games great).

Love the sneakers picture and no-subject's line "not allowing feet to breathe."  Falling down laughing, I am!!!!

Thanks for sharing.

A little humor to take the edge off the utter disappointment I continue to feel regarding this "invisible" issue.

It seems strange to me to, that they would treat their customers like this!
I really don't get it.
If the roles were reversed, I can't see anyone at Bioware being ok with waiting for 2 months to get even a proper answer for a complaint.

It's we, the consumer collectively, have become the "Refund Guy"...still waiting for our our various issues and concerns to be taken care of or at least acknowledged with more than just lip service

Isn't the only reason people want the 4000+ EMS is to have 'the breath' at the end?

yes because
1) the war assets affect on the ending is the only affect any player's decisions (before the final choice) have on the end
2) the only ending in which the hero survives matters
3) if Indoctrination theory is true, it is the only version of the ending in which Shepard is not Completely defeated by the reapers - so it matters a lot

It isn't true. Your argument is invalid.

Well, at this moment IT is in an indeterminate state. Under its own premises, evidence from the game itself can't contradict IT since any contradictory fact is just part of the indoctrination. And Bio's refusing to declare the theory nonsense, which doesn't leave any way to disprove it.

We won't be able to find out if that cat is alive or dead until the EC ships.

Haha, well-played on the quantum mechanics. Nothing is certain until it is observed.

Why the deafening silence, Bioware?

They are pretty busy pressing the Awesome Button™. Plus, they occupy themselves with their hard work on "Dragon Age 3: A Mass Effect Story".

I think, as per their recent statements, it would be "Dragon Age III: Skyrim-Lite". From everything I've seen, even the DA team is fumbling in the dark trying to figure out how to present their game. That press conference at PAX was a joke - they're trying to hype up RPG elements (customize your squadmates!) that were in RPG's made more than a decade ago. Hell, I've heard rumors on a couple different blogs that DAIII may be the project EA pushed back a year because it was nowhere close to getting off the ground.

That said, I give the DA team a pass because they at least have admitted their faults and are actively working to appease the fans. We haven't seen the core ME team in almost three months - they've more or less fled from the public eye, and we're stuck with lower-level company chumps who are passive-aggressively mocking the fanbase in tweets and public statements. I feel fairly content knowing I didn't buy this game, even when the fans can't get a straight answer on something I consider essential to the game after weeks on end.

BioWare, is this your idea of listening? Are you having the janitor investigate this or something? These topics will not go away until there is some kind of an official answer. KotOR on the Xbox was my first BioWare game. It was the greatest RPG I had ever played. The twists and turns of the plot had my jaw on the floor. The real consequences of your choices at the end blew my mind. Next came Jade Empire and Mass Effect. BioWare could do no wrong. Then EA got you in it's clutches. You guys have changed and not for the better. You may reach a larger audience with your casual-focused games, but you'll lose the solid foundation of fans you built up over the years to do it. I hope it's worth it.

Of course,  there's also the Mass Shift theory too.  IT is based on in-game elements,  Mass Shift is based on a supposed employee's statements.

But as you said,  we would need to see the first DLC to tell if that was a real "Leak".

Given EA's track record though,  I wouldn't be surprised if Mass Shift is true,  which I suspect will tick off alot of people.

I think most of us are losing that respect - the deafening silence continues....  but the thread goes on - nice one!   I removed myself from all things ME for a couple of days - but am back now and wondering if Bioware are ever going to give us news on this.

To close other threads down with a "we are still investigating" this is just rubbish - they surely must have a list of War Assests - otherwise how did they ever come up with the values needed to achieve certain endings - or were the numbers just plucked from the air?!

I can't believe that they just won't give us some kind of time scale - even a "this will be resolved when the Endings DLC is released" would be something - surely that can't be too hard to organise.

In the meantime the threads on this subject continue to be ignored or worse still locked down.

Some answers Bioware would be great......

Its a very strange way of acting, indeed. It isn't even like it would be a difficult fix - just lower the requirements, or slightly increase the values of certain War Assets you can gain.

Its not like its a demand to completely redesign the game from the ground up. Which is honestly what I'd prefer, but then I do have my head in the clouds a lot of the time.

Very subtle. I guess Bioware ( and everyone else ) should have seen something like this coming when they asked for help designing a pair of ME inspired shoes.
