Hi all, I have a sad question that'll make me look an utter boshtet, so I'll just come right out and ask it:

What is the maximum number of characters Shepard can woo all the way from ME1 to ME3?  And how can I achieve it?

Now, only 1 of my Shepards ever had a romance, and that was only because Jennifer Hale and Ali Hillis joked about it in the VGA Awards (so I immediately rolled a FemShep just for this, and she stayed loyal to her throughout).  Now I'm looking to play through all 3 ME games, and just to make it interesting, I wanted to just get the most romances (quantity-wise, not quality).

And by romance, I'm afraid I mean sexy time.  I want this new Shepard to Captain Kirk the galaxy he's saving from Reapers.  In fact, you can assume he's saving the galaxy mainly for that purpose.  You know, like he cured the genophage not for the Krogan race, not for Wrex, but for himself.  I realise I'm turning Mass Effect into Leisure Suit Larry for this unusual playthrough.

Here's my theoretical approach, please share your own experiences:

ME1

- help the Asari Consort, demand more than "a gift of words"
- court one of my squad mates, probably Liara
- save Ashley on Virmire, to set up a romance in ME3

ME2

- have a fling with Jack
- pursue a proper romance with Miranda or Tali (probably Miri)
- try to court Samara, I know I'll get rejected, but still
- invite Kelly Chambers to my quarters

ME3

- have an "exclusive" with Diana Allers
- pursue another serious romance with probably Ashley

Does this sound about right, despite being totally wrong and inappropriate?  Thanks in advance.

I'd never be able to do that myself but technically it seems like close to the optimum given what you are aiming for. Maybe Romance Ash in 1 and Liara in 3 to get Liara's "superior" ME3 romance...

That sounds about right.

The only thing I would add is in ME1 you can attempt to pursue a romance with Liara and Ashley at the same time. Eventually they will confront you and you can suggest a threesome.

Ashley gets disgusted and runs off, leaving you with Liara.
