I'm asking because, everytime I use the Report button, I receive an e-mail from gps@ea.com, saying that they (EA) have received the alert and are investigating. So does it send an alert to the active moderators, or to someone else? Should I contact moderators via message instead?

The red button sends a message to EA customer service, which handles all EA websites.



In my experience, PMing the forum moderators will get an issue resolved much faster than using the report button.

There's a section on this in the FAQ. It suggests what to use the 'report' button for.
