I do like bronze once in a while, allthough I finish it on my own within 30 minutes, so it's not much of a challenge. I use it when I promoted a character, just to get to level 8 or so. I never really had much problems with the other players, usually everyone tries to get the targets.

Bronze is where I go when I want to feel like a Superhero after a long day grinding Gold.
So yes I do like Bronze, and I am sure that when randoms see me in a Bronze lobby as an N7 1020 they wonder why the hell I am there....

But it's an extremely relaxing difficulty for me as I don't have any pressure to perform at my best. Sometimes it just feels good to be able to turn off your "A game" for awhile.

I actually like Bronze - only time you can easily adjust to a new character/weapon and still have fun without the pressure. I think sometimes people get confused as to who is going to run the objectives - infiltrators would prefer people not go with them while he hacks, etc. Some people know this and some new people who are infiltrators - may not.

You may be more informed than many as you actually visit these forums to learn. There needs to be a simple quick guide for noobs.

Yeah, I get that.  The other thing that I always try to have is teamwork.  Whenever I see someone actually doing the objectives, I, first, make sure I'm standing in that blue circle or whatever, and second, I always guard the players hacking so that don't get shot/killed or interrupted. (If there are interrupts)

Also, I play a vanguard but i never charge in unless I know it will actually help the team.  I saw a lot of vanguards over the weekend charging into like 10 mobs and then dying promplty.  I was like, whoa...

I had to disagree with standing right next to the capping player. If there happen to be rocket trooper it will kill you both. Standing at choke point, putting a turret, drone or decoy there would also work. Distract other enemies would work much better than standing guard.

When I play on bronze I would charge into anything that is not 3 pyros. Speccing it right and carrying a light weapon would allow you to charge, nova, charge non stop. It's not as scary as it sounds.

Thanks for all the offers to play a few matches with me. I'm a little intimidated to try silver though. I still need to learn a bit more. My human vanguard is about level 16 I think. I really want to unlock the asari vanguard. It's my favorite race and VG is my favorite class. Been playing it since ME1. Once I get a bit more experience, I'll be more confident in the upper brackets. But I may take some of you up on the offer. :-)

Eventually I no longer enjoy bronze, and losing the fun in silver due to the weekend event that got me into gold. I learned my asari adept and found that in gold she can live up to her full potential as less team mates make the mistake of shooting or meleeing (hello, krogans!) warped targets. I learned to love the BOOM. And gold delivers you many more targets you can turn into walking bombs then silver. Almost no BOOM in bronze:pinched:.

I played bronze for a couple weeks and now I never play it at all--even when using low-level characters. Bronze is just way too easy/boring with characters past the low single digits in level. Plus, after you improve your armory of guns, silver isn't bad on a low-level toon if you just ignore powers and use big guns.

I really got into MP this weekend which surprised me because I didn't think I would.  I just put in my code for the two day pass to check it out and now I'm hooked.  Was shocked to see when I loaded up the SP game my EMS was like 6500 and galactic readiness close to 100%.

Anyway, because I'm a noob I started out on Bronze so that I wouldn't drag the rest of my team down and also to learn the maps and stuff.  And I know it's the beginner's bracket, but man, some of these players are baaaaaaaad  Don't get me wrong, I am no pro - far from it.  But I can follow directions.

For example, if we're doing one of the waves that says disable the devices or kill high value targets, then that's what I try to do.  I don't run around aimlessly killing things and ending up dead in the process.  There were so many games over the weekend where I would be dead (because, again, I'm still learning myself), and I would go into spectator mode and watch helplessly as people would just run around aimlessly instead of disabling the device.  It was maddening.

I kept wanting to say "GET THE EFFING DEVICE!!!!"  I'm really hoping to level up and get better gear so I can go into Silver or Gold.  But I'm just wondering, do you guys like playing on Bronze?  Because sometimes it's an excercise in anger management for me. :-/

Oh and dude... if you want some friends that are laid back and good peps you can add me (GT: VeteranSpace8) and hang out. We can show you the ropes and teach you strategy so you can advance to Silver and Gold. Hell, most of my friends are good enough that you as a competent player could be N7-1 with a lvl 1 ANYTHING can piggyback with us through a Gold match... as long as you know how to use cover and of course provide covering fire.

Sure, bronze is fun! It's great for playing Rambo style, Krogan melee party or Batarian Ballistic Blades massacre.

I play bronze pretty much all of the time because I don't have the confidence to go higher, but I'm starting to get pretty mad at bronze. I'm finding that unless I take a character who's equipped to endlessly zerg straight into trouble, I don't get any action more and more often. If that's the way it's going to be, then I might have to step into silver because as much as I love playing my HE and my Turian Sentinal, I also love my Adepts and making things go BOOM which never happens when everyone else on your team is endlessly zerging things.

Maybe silver will make the pace slow down a bit more and make people more cautious again.

My first gold game happened by accident. Searched for silver, ended up in a gold....was kind of iffy about it but just followed my teammates and did the best I could to be valuable. Since I've been playing ME since 2007 and have put stupid amounts of hours into it........gold was pretty damn easy with a well functioning squad. Now I almost can't play bronze without falling asleep.

I like Bronze. For me, it's fun and relaxing after a hard day at work. You also meet some pretty interesting people. LOL

OP, what system are you on (if you stated it, I missed it). If PS3, feel free to add me as a friend (DragonRacer13). I’d be more than happy to help you level up and earn some credits.

Sometimes it's fun to solo Bronze and completely obliterate everything.

But playing with pugs on Bronze is pretty much pointless nowadays unless you're just starting out the game.

^Yep nothing wrong with bronze - sometimes you're physically unable to cope with gold or even silver (tired, whatever), and it's nice to chill to.

I play Bronze almost exclusively because it's like a casual arcade game, great (as DragonRacer wrote) for relieving stress after a hard day at work.

If I end up on a team with a bunch of dingbats, it's only Bronze.
I screw up, it's only Bronze.
If I want to solo or have a low-level char, it's only Bronze.

Gold kills me instantly, and Silver is a legitimate challenge. But Silver makes me mad because it's full of people making Bronze-level mistakes :(

I do not like bronze, there are not enough enemies to kill, so it gets incredibly boring.

I love silver though, plenty of enemies and the arent omgwtfgonnaoneshotyouwithastraybullet hard.

I stayed on bronze for a long time, and now comfortably play on silver (but man I rage about ******-poor teams of RPUGs) I'll go up to gold occasionally for a FBWGG, or for some fun, but I also find most people have no idea how to play there (and sometimes I'm one of them).

My goal right now is get all the classes to 20, then I'll be focusing more on gold. Infil and Sent are 20, the rest are all 18 right now.  N7 is 174.

Bronze is the only mode worth playing. MP = readiness percentage. There's no other point to the mode. All it exists for is readiness. That's all. You really think you'll still be playing silver or gold when you unlock all the things?

No. You'll play a few bronze maps a day in order to keep your % up. That's it.

I only play on Bronze when I need a pick-me-up, or am leveling a characer. I even test on Silver, because I get bored in a bronze match.

I'm not trying to knock it. I understand some people like Bronze. Its just not for me.

I usually end up playing Bronze the most (roughly 60% of the time). It's the most casual fun, and I don't really have to worry about making sure every move I make is perfect. Recently though, I've been playing on Silver more (roughly 25% of the time) for a bit of challenge, and Gold I probably play 15% of the time.

Bronze is just a giant testing theatre. When I'm trying to figure out how something works, that's where I do it.

I usually like to alternate between which class I decide to play (I enjoy variety) and so I do a lot of promoting (to start out a new character). When I do promote and use a new class, I tend to play a few bronze games before I switch over to silver, largely because I don't like playing as a level 1 character in a silver game.

I join gold matches when I'm playing with my friends, but when I'm playing solo, I tend to stick with silver (higher level characters) and bronze (lower level characters).

Im level n7 1350+ and I occasionally play bronze. Firstly, since I like to promote I find it rude to show up to a silver/gold match with a newly promoted lvl 1 character unless you have a friends match going. As I tend to promote when friends are offline I choose bronze for initial levels. I tend to find more gamers with positive attitudes that I can mentor in me3 mp.

If I like Bronze team and they have mics and basic skills I will bump match up to silver and carry the through a round or two. I will encourage new players to play all the classes give them tips. Comboing with others, basic map and objective strats. What packs to buy etc.

I like it. The "fun" part aside, you can definitely find exceptional players there. The team I play Gold with is formed while playing Bronze.

I keep going back to Bronze now and then, just to search for new additions to the team I formed a couple of weeks ago. There seems to have a lot more inexperienced players (noobzz?) and douchebags on Silver, so I tend to avoid it for now.
