I just tried out a Bronze match for the first time in a while as I promoted most of my classes and, wow, there are a whole crop of new people out there. My only request would be to stick together if you don't know how to play, yet, and focus on objectives!!
I try to help low N7 people figuring they are new.
I will admit that bronze has turned into a free for all in which everyone goes off and does their own thing, at least in randoms. In games played with friends (from this forum) we joke around, and experiment with certain combos. Yesterday we all played as geth engineers. 3 of us had damage dealing turrets and one had a sheild turret. When we encountered a Prime, bam 3 turrets surrounding him and it was hilarious to watch as he kept getting confused and pissed off (it probably didn't help his mood that each time he deployed his combat drone we would hit it with overload).
One of my issues is networking for this game.

Only time I do bronze is when I promote. Usually run 2 bronze matches to get a few levels and then head back to silver once I hit level 10 or so.

I play bronze to lvl up my characters, but if I see a new player (low N7) I actually tag with him/her and help them to survive together, i remember how difficult was when i started and it could be annoying see the "pro" show how good they are to kill everything and ignore the actually CoOp aspect of the game... easy to do with lvl 20 char and X weapons....
If you want, [xbox: piallator] I will be glad to join you in bronze matches....
Heh, i do this on silver with my Krogan Vanguard, Enjoyeble to watch people kill stuff and step in when they get in trouble

Imo, to play Silver or Gold safely you need to be lvl20, and most players nowadays would expect you to.

Bronze is filled with morons, yes, but it is also easy enough for me to do it entirely alone.
Silver is filled with morons as well, but now there might arise situations which I might not always be able to handle on my own. Great, now I have to rely on morons.
Gold - People who aren't morons tend to play this difficulty. People ressurect you, they do the objectives and they know the map. And it's still challenging.

The worst Bronze runs I've had are often with higher level guys into the 200+ range who are apparently just kind of goofing around with characters they're trying out. The lower level guys trying to get a hang of the game seem to get irate at this sort of thing, and understandably so; they want to beat Bronze matches as bad as more experienced guys do Silver or Gold.
And some just seem to be legitimately bad players with inexplicably high N7 rankings. I had a guy in a match with his mic on who cackled every time he killed something (which was rare) and swore and complained when he died (which was frequent). He died about seven times and kept trying to melee Atlases to death; he demonstrated a fascinating inability or refusal to learn from his mistakes, and eventually quit with a series of wounded-animal yelps after people gave up on reviving him. Anthropologically, it was riveting; in gameplay terms, less so.
