re-installing did not work.  can anyone help me?

Based on the filename, it sounds like a problem with DirectX. Maybe they aren't doing enough checking to make sure DirectX is already installed and working correctly?



You could try reinstalling that. Best link I could find for DirectX 9 from the Microsoft site is: http://www.microsoft...&displaylang=en



It's a bit of a guess, but hope that helps.
