Just wanted to go spend some credits I horded. First three Spectre Packs came as usual (if albeit a little delay) then the fourth gave me the "Could not purchase -blahblah" error message.
I thought it might solve itself when I get to play some more matches, but I couldn't enter public ones (was forever stuck on "Searching games" and trying to create a match on my own yielded the rror message as stated in the title.
I play on PC.
Anyone encountered this problem before? Tips, advises, condolences available?

You're the only one, err, except for the other 50,000 or so, that have the same problem.
Tips, no. I think it's an EA server problem. I've never been disconnected from the EA server in a game, either trying to purchase or just when joining.

I'm also getting the message "a network error occured" when trying to start a game, waiting to join one didn't work, so I tried starting one, and got that error message, when I pressed okay, it gave another message that said "creating online game" but even if I waited nothing happened until I pressed cancel, then I went back to the main multiplayer menu... the servers seem to be down or something... D:

Tried restarting the game and hosting again, and it seemed to work. Got a full lobby, but just as the mission was about to start, all three players left at the same time which I thought was a bit weird as it was a random game. So I tried again, and the same thing; it's like the players get kicked out or something.
Tried for the third time, and "A network error occured" once again.
Also, the appearance of my character keeps on reseting after I try to change it.

Same here.......Cannot play or buy specter or any packs.....NEtwork error on host games...and jsut sits on finding.....

Same as Alec709 here and i did not install the patch, it only happens after you open the victory pack

I have the same problem here in Toronto, Canada. Like Alec709, any changes I make to characters including load outs, promotions, etc. does not stay. I also cannot connect to a multiplayer game as it gets stuck at searching for games.
I also redeemed the Victory Pack. I hope this gets fixed soon.

Yep i have opened. And now i cannot connect to a multiplayer game.
The others, who didn't receved the victory pack can play the mp. game.
I am waiting for solution of this issue.

Looks like all of this ties into redeeming the victory pack, Since then I've had the same issues as everyone else.
Warn your friends to NOT redeem the Victory pack until all of this clears up!
