Random fact: scanning the TLK files reveals that there WAS a cyberwarfare quest that got cut. And here I was lamenting that for all the TALK about cyberwarfare, it never happens when Shepard is present.
If the Quarians lived through Rannoch, at some point Xen would mail Shepard with a request for SPECTRE authorization on geth experimentation (built from geth platforms if you destroyed them, or from stolen geth if you made peace). If permitted, she would start developing suicide AI bombers - effectively the kind of sha'heed/kamikaze type that would enter proximity of the intended target, upload an AI-eating virus, and self-destruct (or get eaten by the virus also).
After which she would fly off the handle, and start experimenting on EVERYTHING, including the Citadel, so that Shepard would have to go to the Citadel and either arrest her or shoot her dead.
There's also a lot of choice dialogue there that is probably a hoot to listen to. Haven't yet checked if it's present in the game files as voiceovers or not.Fact: Reaper technology could control the geth. Fact: per your reports, the Citadel is Reaper technology. Ergo...
So far, all I've managed to do is shut down a few keepers and kill some rabble, but if I can unlock the Citadel's secrets...
Am I the only one who read this and thought "Xen could have saved us from the catalyst.... nice job breaking it hero".

Still a great character, in the "crazy-insane" category.

I wish they would've done this and had a "smack that crazy admiral upside the head because she insulted Tali" option. My Shep would've done that without a moments hesitation.

Simultaneous options for a paragon or renegade interrupt.
Paragon: Forehand slap
"Don't you dare talk about her that way!"
Renegade: Backhand slap
"Shut. Your. Mouth."
I mean, you already got the chance to punch Han'Gerrel. The quarians as a whole just seem to be about pushing Shepard's buttons.

Her charachter subplot was too short. People who loved her wanted more and people who hated her wanted to DO something about it, especially if you got peace. Seriously, the fact that Gerrel and Xen are never mentioned afterwards and are likely still in charge worries me a lot more than the whole 'Normandy-crew-starving-to-death-thing'.
Dammnit I wanted to shoot her. With a 'This is for Legion' one-liner.

Fix'd that for you because ... this is one of the times where the Shepard pimp hand must be layeth down.

Make that slight change, and we're golden.

If we will recieve that in DLC than we can discuss EA´s friendly policy ... I guess it will be that way, because that quest is awsome, hmm who know how much they cut out ...

It wouldn't make sense, story line, to go ack to the citadel- Which has ALREADY had the "Bad guys attack the home base!" plot happen there, AND re-open the Rannoch plotline after it had already concluded. It would be like, right after curing the krogan, you got an email from some salarian asking to test out his new krogan fertility limiting disease, if you would be so kind as to come with him to Tuchanka.
In ME2 you have 3 sides, first was Gerrel which wish to kill all geth and retake homeworld, second was Koris which wish only peace with Geth and third was Xen which was helping to war efforts of Gerrel but also was so obsessed with geth technology, she was so slobbering when you show her legion on-board of flotila...
It makes a lot of sense, Xen was obsessed with Geth and their technology, when i first time play game i was waiting whole time since she did something crazy such as some kind of EMP or virus throwing on Geths or even trying to revive them after their anihilation ....

And when you got an ending claiming it won't, something like this sounds like a needed piece.

I wish they kept it. It would've added a counter point that the pace between the Quarians and the Geth might not last.

Exactly. Y u cut this, Bioware? Although it would be nice to have it as DLC, I guess...

Yeah, actually this is why I believed the Starbrat when it said the peace wouldn't last. It is very likely they're just waiting for the war to be over before they start plotting against the geth again, just like it is likely that the krogan will go to war against the salarians (and possibly the turians too) if you cure the genophage and Wreav is in charge.
