Nice. Too bad there wasnt a way to put Xen out of her misery. I have wanted to since I played Mass Effect 3 as a standalone game. Now since I have bridged all three, I want that more...

Renegade or not, I have killed the Rachni in 3 every time after I saved them in 1... Xen is a problem, like the Rachni... A destabilizing force that doesnt help the galaxy...

I started out renting ME3 on Gamefly. Never having played anything remotely like it. Now I own all three AND the DLC related to the storylines of 1, 2 and 3... AND post on this forum... Aint life great if you keep an open mind? Maybe its a lesson to some of you... in a way of course.

The storytelling in all three is great though 1 and 2 were better, though 3 has a vastly superior combat system that makes the gameplay really enjoyable... A better ending would be preferred where Shepard doesn't die and I dont have to kill EDI and the Geth to keep him/her alive... but I can see the reasoning for it. Kinda hoping IT is where they go, but I think after ME and ME2 they've earned patience...

Honestly I don't think Bioware could write their way out of a paper bag with this type of plot and that's the reason why it was scrapped. In this particular case Xen, no matter how brutal her experiments may seem, is hot on the trail, and that's the deal breaker. Can't have that happening. It's an end justifies the means, which is fine for the Reapers and Cerberus, but the Allies have always had to fight this war with one hand tied behind their back. Now with the galaxy facing extinction they're still keeping the gloves on? Bioware said "you are Shepard", but my Shepard is ready to take the gloves off.

Bioware makes cardboard villains and cardboard heroes, and that's what I'm seeing in the raw script. I don't think Xen is that insane. She wouldn't have gotten into that position on the Admiralty board of the Quarian Fleet if she was. Nor would Rael'Zorah. Yet, BW painted them as monsters.

The problem is that it could have ended up destroying the starchild ending and leading to a conventional victory. That was a deal breaker and that's why Xen had to be stopped at all costs.

This is yet another chapter I'm chalking up to Bad Writing Theory.

No idea, its another thing that was hinted at but went nowhere, like the batarian rebellion.

Bioware just loves to cut and change things.

But hey maybe they will turn it into an DLC, yours for only 560 bioware points, BUY NOW!

I mean they did it with Javik, and Omega, both in the original script....

damn...off all the s**t dat got cut...never liked xen...especially when the idiot suggested legion to be cut open/experimented...would have jumped at the chance to put an end this crazy extremist b***h, permanently...
