Isn't it funny how we almost all hate the store random system but BW does nothing to change it?

Isn't it funny when you make sweeping generalizations because you don't want to deal with people who disagree?

It's almost as if Bioware makes money off it.

I'll just be putting here what I wrote in another thread concerning this topic:

Neofelis Nebulosa wrote...

[...]

Default mode: Available kits is only Bronze and whatever special kit that's available currently.

To unlock Veteran packs, you have to successfully extract from Bronze five times.

To unlock Spectre Packs, you have to successfully extract from Silver five times.

Once you have unlocked every available Character at least twice, you unlock a new kit (armory kit v1). It's basically a weapon equipment pack with two basic slots for weapons, one of those guaranteed to be a rare weapon. When you have unlocked all weapons save for ultra-rares, it gives you an increased chance to get an ultra-rare weapon in the last slot and guarantees you higher tier weapon equipment. Ultra-rare chance is lower than on Spectre Packs.

Once you have unlocked every available gun at least three times, you unlock a new kit (armory kit v2). That one is an armor equipment pack with two basic slots for characters, one of those guaranteed to be a rare character.. When you have unlocked all available appearances for the characters, respective character cards grant you double the experience.

That way, people have something to grind for in the first instance. Second, they can optimize their chances to get what they want. Third, those that positively don't want to promote their characters can simply focus on weapon packs, offsetting the wanted lack of random character cards with a lower ultra-rare chance to prevent the weapon-kits breaking the store balance.

That's only a rough idea, but I think it's better than what we have right now.

The people that don't hate it are the ones that don't have all their weapons at level 10 yet. The ones that do hate it have discovered just how terrible it is when they spend 20-25mins to get absolutely nothing in return.

You hate the whole concept that they have put in place, so they should change it?

Well, some hate it, some like it (even if I don't understand that, maybe they are just more lucky than me), but the fact is, bioware sure make money off it so, no chances for it to change.

They are a business trying to make as much money as possible. If you could buy what you want the MP would be dead within weeks.

Bioware makes money from this random system and doesn't give a damn about your opinion.

Isn't it funny how most people realise this content is free and BW/EA has to make their money back somewhere...

That is why I don't hate the RNG, what I would do if I was BW is add an option where you either use 15EUR or 1,000,000 credits and can buy three cards of your choice- and they can not be the same.

Because we're all secretly paying cash to the sly and Bioware is swimming in cash. Why of you think they lowered the price? I bet they start giving it away.

Why would they? We play more and more and more people buy packs using MS points every day.

Nobody suggested buying whatever you wanted. You can still get useful things such as consumable equipment and still having ultra rares be insanely rare.

It's almost as if Bioware is using their resources on dealing with things that are more widely disliked and giving us free DLC.
