Isn't it funny how we almost all hate the store random system but BW does nothing to change it?

Im more than happy to have the store system the way it is and get free DLC, rather than have a system like COD and have to pay 1200msp for a few new maps.

The funny thing is, in CoD games I don't have to go through an annoying and seemingly endless process of grinding on a difficulty level I don't even like to get access to the weapons I want to use.

There's no doubt the map packs are too expensive. But then again, how do you feel about the random nature of the maps you buy in ME3 MP? If you buy them for real money, you are potentially receiving ZERO upgrades for your money. That's way worse value for money than anything CoD has to offer, and even worse than GoW 3's pathetic money-grubbing schemes where they sell weapon skins for outrageous prices. At least there you know what you're buying.

The people that don't hate it are the ones that don't have all their weapons at level 10 yet. The ones that do hate it have discovered just how terrible it is when they spend 20-25mins to get absolutely nothing in return.

Yeaah no.

I have all my weapons at 10 save the black cards and think the store is fine. Maybe there is a better model? sure. I don't think its so bad that it 'needs' to be changed though. Its a heck of a lot better than being able to pick and buy whatever you want to 10.

Most of us would long have quit playing if not for the random store. But yes yes, we totally hate it.

It doesnt bother me as ive never paid real money for any of my packs, and i truly dont understand anyone that does.

If you dont like grinding, then dont do it. Just play for fun and the credits will come eventually.

They won't do anything about it. Look at Resurgence Pack, it could have been sold for 400 msp, but its free and people will spend 10 times as much not on maps, but on packs.

They are a business trying to make as much money as possible. If you could buy what you want the MP would be dead within weeks.

It's amazing how everyone advancing this argument doesn't seem to understand that some people play because the game is fun. If people unlock what they want, most of them will use it and play with it, instead of thinking "Welp, my collection is complete, time to play CoD herpderp."

I'm not even going to get started on the unethical practices of businesses, but I'll just say that the price charged for an ultra-rare in this game (on average) is something like $40, and thats incredibly unjust.

But the system forces you to grind if you wish to unlock your favorite weapons. It's just not happening for me though as I have had really bad luck. And believe me I've opened enough packs.

I've heard this "credits will come naturally" argument before. Maybe it does work like that for a lot of people. But the fact is that when you have a random system like this, a lot of people are also bound to be phenomenally unlucky. That's just the way it is, and that's why the system is an abomination.

Take a look at my manifest. Ive got every weapon except ultra rares up to X.
Ive never farmed a game, ive never paid real money, i only play a few games after work with my mates or randoms. I just play for a laugh and spend the credits after a few days.
Maybe im lucky, but to be fair i could be playing with an avenger V and it wouldnt bother me because im having fun.
If youre only playing to get ultra weapons, then i think youve lost the point.

I hate it, but if they changed it to make it easier then whats the point? If you got your ultra rares asap what point do you have to play Horde mode? nothing.

If it means free dlc updates to facilitate more cash pack purchases, then i like it. If they charge for dlc or don't provide any more i'll dislike it far more actively.

Congratulations, you were not one of the unlucky ones. Of course, that doesn't change anything about what I've just said.

I am not grinding for ultra-rares by the way. I just think the store system masks the fact that there isn't a whole lot to the ME3 MP other than the fact that it takes a long time to unlock everything. It's a shame because it could have been great. It just got stale too fast, and in my case it happened before I even got the gold weapons I wanted the most upgraded.

If you think the game has got stale, then why are you bothered?

Having a shiney new gun isnt going to change the game style.

I'm not playing MP anymore. Played enough to get the pack from this week's event, but that's all I've played in a long time, and I'm not even sure why I did that.

I care because I did put a lot of time and effort into playing MP, and I had fun along the way, no doubt. But I still felt cheated every time I opened a pack and found yet another useless character card. Even if I had fun along the way, it's still a disappointment and it does make the game less fun to me.

Theres not much point in me having a discussion about the store with someone thats given up on multiplayer.

I obviously like it, you obviously dont.

I am still allowed to care, am I not?

But yeah, I can see we are not going to agree. So we'll leave it there.

I like it :D I also think that Bioware is doing a good job. I just want more stuff (weapons, appearance customization,, weapons, maps, races, weapons, objectives, weapons, and game modes)

I like weapons :D

I hate it and would rather have paid dlc and a normal unlock system. Dare I say that a cod type ranking with weapon specific challenges would really suit ME3 mp.

You could unlock characters as you ranked up and unlock weapon upgrades by getting x amount of kills with that weapon.

Also they should of kept mp seperate from sp that way they could of ignored lore and had all sorts of different scenarios. It would of also done away with the whole not being able to get the best ending without mp.

Flame armour enabled.

Would you rather pay 1200msp for the resurgence pack?

If the answer is yes, you have issues.

I know it sounds bad but now I think of it it would be cool to have challenges that netted you exp like kill 1000 phantoms or 1000 biotic kills. I know it sounds a bitPosted Image coddy but you could have real ranks and then N1-7 N7 being the top rank.
