Isn't it funny how we almost all hate the store random system but BW does nothing to change it?

How much should we be charged to not have endless character cards that give less exp than completed bronze games? $100? $200? Perhaps bioware should have had two day 1 dlc. One of them giving access to forums. Ea would certainly approve of such ideas.

Was there really a purpose to limiting the amount of respec cards we gain to 3? At least the respec cards could be used.

That's how they keep the DLC and patches free. I for one actually like it, and I like free DLC.
They are basically applying a free to play model to a payed game, and I don't mind. I enjoy the gameplay, I enjoy the store, I enjoy the DLC.

I hate that yet again I get a character card for the billionth time, or a weapon upgrade for one that I don't use, But give a small cry of joy when I do get something worth having. I don't like it but have learnt to live with it.

I only really hate that upgrading is random. I'm totally fine with getting a weapon for the first time being random... In fact, I'm having a good bit of fun trying out different combinations while I amass my armory. However, you should be able to upgrade the weapons you win at your leisure.

It's only annoying for people like you TC. I'm not obsessed with owning every character or every weapon.

Everyone hates it, deal with it.  The only people that don't, are the ones who haven't had a chance to find its faults yet.  Come back when you max those golds and spend millions with no progress to speak of.  If you haven't, you really shouldn't comment on whether you like the system or not because you haven't dealt with its faults yet.

Doesn't mean the store system isn't terrible, it just means you set your sights low in the MP, which is fine.  Doesn't give your comment any credence though.

Yes, it gets people to promote more often.

I get the gripe, but I have such a long way to go to max weapons and characters that it really doesn't bother me. The folks who have almost all gold weapons at X are a pretty small and super-invested subset of players. I play a few matches a day, always silver or gold, and don't even have an uncommon or rare weapon to X yet. I have one maxed rare character.

I honestly don't think Bioware were expecting some folks to get that die hard about MP that soon. They should work on some adjustments to the system so those most devoted players don't leave, but my question is what those players really want. Would more characters, weapons, and maps satisfy, or is it really just a desire to max N7 weapons? Are we talking new game modes, I.e. co-op missions like COD's special ops challenges?

The store system isn't going to stop being random. The game itself, however, has the flexibility to change and grow if it becomes clear what the most dedicated gamers are craving.

What good is promoting? n7 level does nothing.

Some of you are so entitled. If you can make a better game, do it. I will enjoy playing it.

It supplements your war assets in SP.  BioWare like to believe we might want to play it again someday.

I like it except for the duplicate character cards for characters you already have maxed, if that was fixed it would be perfect as far as I'm concerned.

They need to be removed and just be added in as a feature for people who want to respecc for some Credits, 5K (adding 5k until maxxing out at 25k) because having respecc cards is utter bull****, especially when most people won't look up guides and will try out a spec, and if it sucks then they're screwed with that character. Worst part is when you are unhappy with one character's spec, and theres the option to promote, but you're happy with the other four specs so you're stuck between a rock and a hard place.

The points barely do anything.  The main reason to play is for the Galactic readiness so you don't get ****ed by the terribad math system.

1. The randomness makes you want to play more to unlock things you don't have or to upgrade what you do have. It's what gaming shows run on (i.e. what's behind door number 1?).

2. If you spend real money to unlock random items, then don't complain about how much it's costing you since you could save up your in game credits.

No, everyone doesn't. Deal with THAT.

Seriously, did you even read the thread? Does the fact that people don't agree with you ASTOUND and AMAZE you? Can you just not wrap your head around the possibility? And while I'm asking all these questions, let me ask you this: How much weight do your owners make you carry, on average? What brand of oats do they feed you? Do you ever wish you were a horse?

( protip: I am saying you are a stubborn mule. I wasn't sure you could FATHOM the joke, so I had to explain it. )

I see you haven't maxed your Krogan Battlemaster yet.
YOUR OPINION MEANS NOTHING HERE.

There is no way anyone wants to get trolled by single player again. I wish there was a renegade option to shoot that little kid at the beggining of the game.

I truly hate it, considering I have every single weapon out there at tier X, apart from the Ultra Rare weapons which are either not unlocked, tier 1 or tier. Now, even with all of these things unlocked, the Black Widow I will not unlock. It is the only friggin weapon I've wanted since launch and it will simply not unlock for me.
