So hard to choose but.. Thane. Definitely Thane.
Which ME2 character would you have picked as a ME3 companion?

I'd pay money to get Jack or Grunt back on the Normandy. Heck, there's enough room for her to bring her students if she wants. And Grunt could just toss Javik out the airlock to have his room back. I'd be totally ok with that.
So, Bioware, I'll trade the Prothean and the VS for Jack and/or Grunt, ok?

After Alenko got back in ME3, all I needed to be happy was Mordin and Legion as squadmates. They were only new characters in ME2 I actually cared about.
We knew Thane was dying, so he should spend more time with his son, Grunt shoud learn something about krogan culture (and beside i me3 you got human version of Wrex/Grunt) Samara is justicar, it was hard enough to get her on board, you just cant break her code. Jack was way too annoying and hyperbolised character. Jacob was busy making babies.
And well Miranda - that would be quite logical to have her on board as a high ranking cerberus operative with information, but she got her own business to take care about, and she didnt even wanted to tell Shepard about that.
So I dont care about the others - all I wanted was Mordin and Legion. I wouldnt mind getting rid of EDI (I would love to do that) to have these two back.

Zaeed. What little he had to say in 2 was always interesting to me. It was kinda cool having a vet around to tell old war stories.

Zaeed, so I can enjoy the sight of him kicking Allers out of his room.

If we're just picking one, then Jack, hands down.
But i'd swap Ash, Liara, Tali, EDI and Vega for Jack, Thane, Grunt, Legion and Mordin in a heartbeat.

Man, I miss the ME 2 squad.
Miranda for squad powers, Cerberus arc (which was not touched upon at all in ME 3), and due to LI status with "cannon" Shep.

Mmm... Miranda. There's a lot of ignored reasons.
- Leading Character from ME2. And she is the character with less chances to die in the SM.
- Cerberus plot, how her old loyalties are with the new direction of Cerberus.
- Dialogue with her on Cronos: About Lazarus and Shepard resurrection. And how she could be one of the indoctrinated Cerberus operatives if she stayed in Cerberus. And a confrontation with her ex boss.
- Organic vs Synthetic arguement. Organic doesn't know why they exist. Synthetics now why they exist. There's only two character (organics) whi were created by artificial means in the series: Miranda and Grunt. Both of them know why they exist, something that no other organic can answer.
- After Sanctuary she is more than avaible to join Shepard, but bioware staff were too incompetent to think that, actually, every thing after the geth arc is incompetent.

Miranda, Jack, or Grunt.
Jack had a good reason not to join my squad, but she'd be interesting cuz of her extreme character development. Miranda & Grunt literally have no excuse.

To bad you couldn't have whoever you had a relationship with. I had multiple files with various LIs. Basicly whoever my LI was in 2 I would have liked to see in 3. but I guss that would have been to much work for BW.

Legion hands down. And Samara. Grunt was fun but I think he fulfilled his role in the ME3 quest.
I miss Legion's "rawrawrawr" and I think that he says, "bad app" (?!?!), what is he saying? He is interesting like the quarians in MP. I can't understand what they're saying, but they're funny.

You mean I can only pick 1?
Miranda
Samara and Grunt would be tied for joint 2nd.

I would have liked it if they had done a "reward squad mate"
For example
If you cure the Geno. you get Grunt
If you sabotage and kill mordin you get a Salarian commando (a new character or Kirrahe)
If you help the Quarian you get Tali
If you help the Geth you Legion ect.
It would have been a cool way to make sure that each playthrough felt "different"

Hmm Kasumi....nonono Grunt....Wait, Legion! Ugh Samara?
Oh I know i'll trade you Garrus, Vega, EDI and Javik from our current squad for those 4. That's fair right?! ;p
Huh this question is harder than I thought. D:
