I dislike Specialist Traynor, what was the point of replacing Kelly Chambers.

"you have unread messages at your terminal commander"
"i fancy every alien on the ship!!!"
Traynor has some interesting dialogue so i prefer her.

So guess I just like her too much.
Kelly was kind of stupid. Too cute and sweet for me. No real personality.

I didn't mind Traynor, they just tried too hard to make her overtly "lesbian." Like, why does she have to sound like she needs a change of shorts when she mentions the first time she heard EDI's voice?
Also, she doesn't exactly hit on Shep, nor does Cortez. Their romances just kind of spring out of nowhere. You flip and switcvh and it's go time. I would think they wouldn't just go for it b/c hey, they randomly found another gay person.
I'm straight and I still find that somewhat overly convenient. Barring that, I only have ONE other MAJOR problem with Traynor...
If Liara really IS the Shadow Broker, why the heck wasn't SHE the one to give all the intel on Cerberus? Failing that, why didn't her contacts help to find the Cerberus Base? Liara, as the Shadow Broker, felt like a weak plot device.
Hopefully, if they do the Omega DLC, Liara has a major part in that plot, otherwise, her role as SB is pretty much pointless (barring a few War Assets...whoopee).
Hmm... for me it didn't feel out of line that it wasn't Liara who found Sanctuary. That mission comes right after the fall of Thessia so I always figured that at the moment Liara might just be to overwhelmed to do it. She is not present at that meeting when you find sanctuary. The two intel-people who are there are EDI and Traynor.

When she was complimenting EDI's voice, I had visions of her in down-time trying to get EDI to say certain things... if you know what I mean... lol.
EDI: "Specialist Traynor, why do you want me to say that to you?"
Traynor: "You're a VI, do as I say"
EDI: "...acknowledged, Specialist Traynor. Did I hear Mr Moreau calling me...?"
Joker (over the comm): "Nope, now please, do as the Alliance Officer has requested..."
EDI: "I hate you"
Joker: "I enjoy the sight of an AI on it's knees"
EDI: "haha, very funny..."
Traynor: "ahem!"
EDI: "mmmmmmm, Samantha, you're so..."
We get the gist I think

Can I have both ?
No because they would probably hook up together and leave Shepard out in the cold.
I liked both of the characters, but they didn't stand out too much to me. Both are just there to please a male audience. Yeah, Traynor is a lesbian, but what lesbian who wants a serious relationship is going to start it with making out/having sex in a shower? Traynor felt like she did a lot more important things than Kelly though. Actually, Traynor did the kind of stuff that I expected Liara to be doing. Finding missions, tracking and hacking stuff.

That's still important, even if not to Shepard.
