A Centennial Edition would be better, so it would no longer be my problem.

No I wouldn't, I've never really believed in remakes, developers should spend their resources on new ideas rather than remaking old ones. Also why should it be called the HD edition when the game is already in HD? Furthermore Bioware would quite possibly alter or change the gameplay leading to the "better gameplay" you mentioned, except that it wouldn't be better. It would be changed and it would no longer be Mass Effect 1. If you change the game's gameplay it's no longer the same.OdanUrr wrote...
The title says it all. Who would be willing to buy a ME1 HD edition, with better gameplay, high-res textures, and more varied locations? Do you think 2017 is too late a date? What else would you like to see improved or changed?

I've actually started a new ME1 run just the other day. I have all the settings beefed up, everything max juice - and I love it.
ME1 was an incredible game. The story was intense, deep, captivating..... and the ending really was amazing.
I really wish they would re-do the game in some kind of ultra high res, perhaps like the mass effect 2 engine.

I'd rather wait and get the whole trilogy remastered as a single game. That would really be worth the money. I'd probably pay triple RRP of a standard game for it too.

I'd totally buy it, but i'd like it to be done like halo anniversary, just an added layer of textures over it. The only gameplay adjustment id like is the option for co-op single player either through 2 shepards and 2 total party members or for player 1 to select 1 party member and the 2nd player gets to select who they play as, they could even make it harder in co-op to make it balanced with the extra person.

Considering they just shipped ME1 as it was in MET I'm thinking it's unlikely they'll ever bother updating the game.

Well I already own it on the 360 and I plan on buying it for the PS3 when it comes out in Europe on Friday so Mass Effect HD 10th Anniversary is going to need more than a Higher Texture make over for me to buy this game for a 3rd time.
