Just finished ME2 and am looking forward to playing the Sentinel on ME3.

I would like to know the best way(s) of building the Sentinel or what specs make it the most successful.

I do plan on playing on Insanity as well.

Throw -> Radius->Detonation->Double
Warp -> Expose->Detonation->Cooldown
Overload -> Chain->Neural->Chain
Lift Grenade-> Upgrade capacity or damage whenever you can
Those are the only three that really matter. Pick Stasis as your bonus power for Phantoms. Tech Armor is optional.

If you want a Tech Armor focused build, I'd go with this

Throw -> Radius->Cooldown Reset->Double
Warp -> Expose->Detonation->Cooldown
Overload -> Chain->Neural->Chain
Tech Armor -> Durability->Power Damage->Durability
Barrier -> Durability->Shield Replenish->Durability

Stack shield replenish gear and use Throw primarily to detonate Liara's Warp. You can load up on guns like Kronner did with his, and just use Throw/Lift Grenades. I did a more hybrid approach with; my build is in action here (you can still carry a few weapons, and use warp/overload without killing your cooldown).

However for vanilla Insanity I think the top build is 'better' in terms of killing speed.

Insanity with Sentinel = easy mode

Work your build to setup biotic explosions and if you want you can pick up energy drain and setup tech bursts with garrus and EDI.

I mean at Thessia i blew up that banshee in 5 seconds liara warp -> throw -> javik dark channel ->throw ->warp ->throw and repeat if you need to. And you still have overload and/or energy drain for marauders.

Spec for cooldowns and power damage and try to rock with light weapons and you'll destroy SP

It seems so much more versatile in ME3 then in ME2 (I played through with it on Insanity in ME2) with grenades and the ability to detonate/tech explosion by itself. It looks like what scala said above "Easy Mode".

I play him like an Adept with more survivability + Overload (seriously, sentinel makes Adept worthless in ME3..)

My standard for mobs:
Dark Channel => Throw (Overload to strip shields when necessary)
Against bosses: Dark Channel => Throw => Warp => Throw

I'm halfway through the game without a single point invested in Tech Armor (though I will eventually for the +20% power damage). I carry a scoped Paladin V for 200% cooldowns.
