As you might have noticed, we have started a big survey about Mass Effect 3 last week. We wanted to know several things from you: your choices, opinions on the end, the multiplayer and general impressions. Today we can proudly present to you the first interim results. And who has not yet taken part, this can be done here, of course, about another 2 weeks. We would be delighted!
Below you can find some pie charts, what show you first interim results of the survey. Many other (interim) results are on their way an can be seen soon. At the time of interim analysis 15,215 people have already participated in the survey. That's a pretty big number. Thank you for this! And remember: If you have not voted yet, this can be still done for 2 weeks!
In the period from the beginning of the survey to today, we have noticed requests from 61 countries. In the top 10 were the United States, Germany, Great Britain, Russia, France, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Austria and Italy.
The survey was shared more than 1,000 times on Facebook and tweeted hundreds of times. On the site of the survey, we recorded total (unique) 24,239 hits.

Do you have any idea how we could reach those fans who don't visit these forums often?
Post the survey link (once) in character related threads. I know many fans who never venture out of those.

I'm dreading the full results because I know there's a lot of unreasonable people who voted just based off the ending.

the survey was endings-centric, with questions like "how would you rate the ending", "how would you rate the game without the ending" , and "how would you rate the game AND the ending"

I know that, but you know there's going to be some people that think it's approriate to give the game a tanked score on everything based on the ending alone.

So the majority of sold copies were Collectors Editions?
That makes me think two possibilities:
1) The CE was really the most sold edition.
2) The majority of people that took the survey are true ME fans, so that's why there's more CE percentage (normally the fans are who buy the special editions). People who don't like the saga or like the ending, just didn't take the survey.

Whoa, lets not discount those who couldn't buy the CE because it was sold out.

Thanks a lot for the work! Filled it out a while ago. Just wondering, will you be releasing the raw data at the end of the survey? I'd love to run them through some stat analysis (not that I'm any good at it, mind you). Anyway, curious to see the rest of the results.

Hi, thanks for your reply. As I wrote below the news yesterday:
In my opinion this survey can be seen as representative. But with one limitation. It's probably "just" representative for fans of the Mass Effect franchise. You can assume that the majority of the participants were fans and not people from the "mass market". So I'd prefer: representative for fans of Mass Effect
I think that most of us fans really ordered the Collector's Edition. Would we be able to interview consumer from the mass market we would probably see other results...
