Like I said bottom right of your browser screen, it's shadowed out, so your cursor must be over it to make it appear.

Ok, I found it. You have to hover over "music", than (and only than) a tiny control element appears at the bottom right corner.

The song is widely popular, and cannot be faulted technically, as it is neither out of tune, nor played poorly.

...which I will not dispute. I still don't like it -and now that I can turn it off, it's fine.

Urgh...it was a nice survey -but what's with the wall-of-text-evaluation of the data ? I don't want them to interpret our votes (and really don't care for that *****y music in the background you can't turn off).

Just put up the graphs -the numbers will speak for themselves.

This

Thanks for putting this together though

Agreed, especially since there are some broad assumptions made in those walls of text.

But the problem is, that numbers can be interpreted in many ways. So we also wanted to bring the sight of a fan in it, to show BW what the numbers mean.

As all of you should know, every statistic can be turned into different meanings.

And I'm sorry, but we have still some technical issues with the graphs, we are still working on that.

So you're attempting to tell BioWare what the numbers mean, but you admit that you may have completely misinterpreted the meaning. Personally, I think the walls of text cloud the issue. Many of the assumptions made about why people made the choices they did have no basis, they're just conjecture.

For instance, the whole essay seems to be wildly pro-clarification. At the end it makes the argument that the majority who are angry with the ending are angry because they didn't have enough clarity. Some of us who hated the ending don't want clarity. We had no problem understanding the ending, we just didn't like it. More needs to be edited out than filled in, in my opinion.

Granted, this could actually be backed up by the numbers, I don't remember now if there was a question about it in the survey. I guess I'll see if that's true with the graphs go up.

I must be an idiot.

Because nothing I press leads me to any form of analysis of the feedback. Just comments.
Does anyone have a direct link?

Yeah, interesting survey, but a very biased analysis of its results.

Particularly the clear slant to being pro ending in principle, even when the data seems to be saying the vast majority hate it and saying the option for a happy ending isn't important, when again the overwhelming said it was.

Sorry folks!
The graphs are now visible. You should probably reload the site once to see them.

@Aris:
But now you see the problems when you jsut show the results. You can interpret as you want. So we tried to put the results together with the comments in the forum. And that brings us to this analysis.

Does it not fit every meaning of all the people is clear. So because of that we also put in the results itself (when we can fix the problem). So you have both, just the results and our analysis.

*switched browser and is reading right now*

One comment I have is: Under the options of how well the player thought the multiplayer part was, I think it would have been great to have a "Did not play" option for answer. I didn't like the somewhat forced multiplayer personally, but I don't feel confident in saying the multiplayer-part of the game was "bad" per se. It was probably great if you like multiplayer.

Another interesting thing I personally wouldn't mind a break down of would be: How many players initiated same sex romances? It should be possible to see in the numbers, no?

Happy to see so many female Shepards.

Thanks for a great initiative! Excellent work.

Yes, that is definetly a point that we missed, but we couldn't be sure if one who played femshep, is also female. So because of that we couldn't say it. Maybe we should have asked if the voter is male or female to, to get this point.

Thank you for your vote and the nice feedback. Image IPB

That's of course true. But then on the other hand, it's a roleplaying game, so we would never know anyway, if it's straight women playing gay male romances, or even straight male players doing the same. In games they can, because it's just roleplaying. I'm gay, and I've played Shepard as straight as well.

Could just be interesting to see how popular the "concept" was over all.

Happy you made this.

Yes, that should be possible :)
I think we could provide some additional graphs in the next few days. Just let us know in which combined data your are interested :)

In that case, I'd wish for a simple break down of just  how many percentages of those who romanced a character chose same sex romances (male Shepard's engaging in male romances and female Shepard engaging in female romances), without going into what gender they played as (so .. no "x percent of female Shepards did this, and Y percent of male Shepards did that, but more a "Z percent of all players chose this").
I think guessing if men played as female Shepards to get lesbian romances or any other guesses as to who played how because of some "why", only clutters up the information.

And I think you'd probably have to make a decision on if Liara would count as a gender. That seems to be important to some.

Thank you.

People complaining about the music...

If you open your eyes, you will see there is a button that says music. I kind of find it hard to believe that you can find the post button in this forum.

Thanks for the results.

But I'm pretty sure I voted in this survey (and one other), but apparently there were not votes from the UK? Scotland's still part of the UK, right guys? Or did I miss the memo?

Really interesting, I was expecting Liara to be the most romanced character given her popularity and Mordin's death being the most emotional moment in the game for most people, but other results really surprised me. I didn't know that many people edited their Sheps' appearance and the really high score given to the Resurgence DLC.

I can tell you, that we were also very surprised by some of the results. For me, i didn't thought that so many people are willing to buy Story-DLC's, because a lot of people in fora are talking very bad about this business.

Thanks for the tip. Is obviously an error. I will fix that.

Just click "Survey Data". If you get a "Coming soon", you need to clear your cache or switch browser.
