What's the difference between someone else coming to their own conclusions and you adding in an analysis that interprets the data as you want people to interpret it, thus coloring the results with bias? I don't mean to sound like I'm disrespecting the work you put into this, I just think the analysis doesn't really do much to support the survey when it makes guesses and assumptions as to people's motives.Butzilla wrote...

But now you see the problems when you jsut show the results. You can interpret as you want. So we tried to put the results together with the comments in the forum. And that brings us to this analysis.

Ah, so I think I missunderstood you.
Just to give the numbers to BW seemed a bit less for us, so we did this analysis. But BW also get's the numbers without the interpretations. So they can also do their own if they want.

Also I got bored and decided to calculate overall usage of each squadmate (based on the last chart from the survey). Here goes:
Garrus 12303
Liara 9188
Tali 3370
Javic 2958 (indeed, very popular, considering him being DLC)
EDI 2135
Ashley 1784
James 1670
Kaidan 1540
(Obviously the total number of votes is twice the amount of the survey participants, since each person voted for 2 squadmates, but the proportion is the same nonetheless^^)

Eure Umfrge war sicherlich das beste was den treuen Fans der Serie in dieser Situation ht passieren können.
Bleibt dran, vielleicht wenden sich die Dinge ja doch noch zum Guten.
It s about time for bioware to break their silence . I know they're not allowed to talk about the upcoming dlc , but now that they had the chance to think about the "appreciated" feedback it s time for them to finally get the point and give us some official statement .
I also think it would be interesting whats going to happen to the guys that lied to all their customers . I mean what's the word of some Casey Hudson worth in game industry after he tried to fool the fans of the mass effect series by false advertising the game on the Internet ?
I d really like to see bioware take some consequences ..
PS: And finally stop asking for help with that god da**** sneakers and focus on something important !

But the problem is, that numbers can be interpreted in many ways. So we also wanted to bring the sight of a fan in it, to show BW what the numbers mean.
As all of you should know, every statistic can be turned into different meanings.
And I'm sorry, but we have still some technical issues with the graphs, we are still working on that.
The amount of work it must have taken... You really did everyone a huge favor with this survey. Thank you.

I have one little remark, which will sound "whiney" (that's because it is.). The last question, on wether one wanted a "happy" ending was answered with more than 90 % in favor, yet this was not included in the recommendations.
That's all I have but think nothing of it, you did a great job.

Thank you, we hope that this work helps all of us fans and specially Bioware for the upcoming DLC.
To the whiney part:
I was reading it, and you are right, maybe we should have put that to in our conclusion. But when BW tell us what's happen to the universe in an epilogue, it could turn to a happier ending as it is at the moment.
But you know, nobody is perfect!
(And hey, no problem if you comment like this. We want your feedback! That helps us, eventhough when it's critical. And yeah, we don't take it personal or get angry, so everything is ok.)

I don't think I've ever seen anything like this being done for a game. If there's anything the folks at Bioware can be truly proud of, it's the fact that their work has garnered them some of the most dedicated fans in the industry. As you have demonstrated.

Your analysis of the stats tended to be at bit biased but that doesn't mean it isn't credible. All your interpretations are based on things you see here on the BSN and whatnot. I doubt that's what Bioware (and most people) will focus on anyway. The stats are there for interpretation whether your interpretation is there or not.

Thanks for the results.
But I'm pretty sure I voted in this survey (and one other), but apparently there were not votes from the UK? Scotland's still part of the UK, right guys? Or did I miss the memo?
//edit
Issue is fixed. Nearly 3,000 visitors from the UK
To see that you will probably have to clear your browser's cache.
Wow, thats actually a lot more than I thought. I was expecting a few hundred.

Just a reminder, the survey results can be found by following the original link (http://www.masseffec...se.de/feedback/) and then clicking "Survey Data" at the top of the page.

If they could release the data to determine when they were vote-bombed ...
(EDIT: The polls show that the things I voted were popular, but an uncontrolled situation for an internet poll makes for abuse.)
