I really, really, REALLY hate it when people who make web pages force you to listen to their choice of music. What if I'm already listening to my iTunes? What if I don't care for the selection in question? Safari doesn't show the "Mute Music" button, so I have to mute my sound altogether. Really wish this trend would STOP.

I'm sorry for that. Normally you should be able to turn the background music off. Furthermore I have to admit that I didn't test the site with Safari during development .

So I did it just this minute and I neither hear any music in Safari nor can I see the player after hovering. I will check that this evening.

What I'd like to see is some correlations and cross-tabulations. For instance: how many of those who chose (Destroy/Control/Synthesis) did or did not like the endings? Is there a significant difference? How many of those who romanced (Character X) also chose (Destroy/Control/Synthesis). Is there a correlation? Did more of those who didn't romance anyone choose Control or Synthesis?

Are you planning to do something like that? If not, could I have access to your data so that I can do it myself?

Actually we plan somethin like that. Furthermore we had the plan to combine our results of the survey with those of the other survey by MikeC and Ofish.

Later this week we'll publish a PDF and all results as a text file. So you can do your own researches. And we'd love to add your results to our site so you can see all results at a glance

Interesting read and you definitely have put a lot of time into the report (s). There are various points and methodology choices I don't really agree with but in the end its a great summary of the people who participated's opinion.

Definitely looking forward to this PDF and the cross-analyses. I ran a few on a survey done by Zolt a bit ago, and we did discover a noticeable correlation between people's ending choice and their overall satisfaction with the game as it currently is. But that survey had a different purpose than this one, so I wasn't able to run the other analyses Ieldra suggested.

Yes, she had access to the survey results, one day earlier than all of you. We gave her and the rest of the BW guys the chance to read through it, without being faced with your reactions.

She said "thank you" for our work and pointed out, that the results are very interesting. In addition, the Community Manager from EA also wrote me a message that goes in the same direction. She said, they really appreciate this feedback and also that the results are very interesting.

Bioware is trying reeeeeally hard to either

A: ignore this
B: find a way to turn it into "hey another perfect score"

see people are not telling them they are awesome with this...can't have that.

at best Jessica will simply say "we are listening" and that is not an attack to her, that's all she is allowed/told to say

Well Bioware, the ball has been placed into your court... you have an overwhelming picture of what the fans specifically want and what they believe as represented by staggering percentage differences. Now make it happen. On a side note, if Bioware really wants to know how the fans truly, and I mean truly feel about MP, they should lock the Galactic Readiness at 100% for a month and see just how often players go to MP mode when they no longer fear the need to have high readiness for EMS. Anyways, good luck Bioware, I hope you can deliver.

It's too late for a survey to do anything now.

The EC is in full development, the storyboarding is done for it.



It's now a wait and see game.



But on the up note, pretty huge belief in IT.

The EC hasn't been given a release date yet. This sort of data can persuade EA to give Bioware more time and resources to make relevant changes. I really feel like EA has underestimated the impact this extended cut will have on their future. Perhaps this will be a small wake up call for them.
