Looking to alter the mesh of the body, and hopefully add wings or other things depending on the need.

I imported the mesh into 3d studio MAX, while the "boots" mesh came up alright (along with the basic shapes), the body mesh had nothing, just the basic shapes (circle, cyllendar ect)

I want to edit the mesh to be a little more realistic and add other parts, any help from those who have done it would be greatly appreciated.

The primitives are the collision objects. Just hide them to see the underlying meshes.

I'm sure you're already aware of this if you are contemplating it, but changing the mesh topology will destroy the weighting and require you to reskin the mesh. Unless you plan on making radical changes, you may be better off just concentrating on making a new set of textures, as the normal map is where most of the fine scale muscle definition is going to come from, not geometry.

It must have just been a glitch then I guess, I'll try re-extracting the mesh again, I got the collision objects but when I looked and later hid them, there was no mesh, but as stated, the boots were fine, both mesh and collision objects.

I figured I'd have to retexture them as well, thats ok I got the stuff I need for that.

Thanks for the info :)

UNfortunately i have no explanation for this, other than the model really got no mesh and u use my importer. Care to tell about any error messages if any?
Be sure to use the latest of my importer plugin as well.

Looks like he is using NewByPower's naked mesh, not a vanilla game mesh, so it could be related to that seeing as it would have been exported by Blender (from my limited knowledge of it, it sounds like Blender exports are kind of a hack job).

Ok, so after trying again, I got messages last time as well
"Could not find [resoursename].MAO Look for it manually?" Last time I selected the appropriate .MAO file and I got the problem with no mesh showing up, this time I skipped it and it worked fine. I'm.... stumped about the whole thing but at least it works. Maybe I should just not look for things it wants XD

@Eshme: No fear, I did use the lastest version of the mod I could find, [5.30.7z] As I have a working model now (touch wood) it doesn't appear to be anything wrong with the mod itself, rather the way I was using it.

Thank you all for the info however, much appreciated :)

Thats weird. How about you get the lastest version (5.42), not that it solves the problem. Cause i cant see it.
Im almost thinking that your mesh is only invisible due a material issue. Press "H" and see if the mesh is there then?
