Nope.
Anybody regret ever getting invested in Mass Effect?

No, I love the series. I spent plenty of times playing ME 1 and ME 2. ME 3 endings were not my taste at all, but I loved everything before the endings.
Also I have made great friends because of Mass Effect and Kaidan Alenko
People I wouldn't have met without the game...lol...so that is another reason I'm never going to regret to have played Mass Effect.

I wish I never discovered you could play it in another way than a TPS so I would never have any interest in it (and I actually was right, it was just another TPS in the end).
Who cares about love when it end being cheated?

Even though i hate what happened to the franchise and the endings i will never say that i regret getting invested. It's been overall an amazing experience and one hell of a fun time no matter how this ends :>

I will never regret it. Even after the ending, I believe the mess is still salvageable and that future games will still be as amazing as the ones before.

With about 400 hours of game time between all three games, I say it was well spent worth every friggin penny in my opinion.

Not in the slightest. I enjoyed the hundreds of hours of play and that far outweighs any gripes I may have about certain areas of the game.

Nope one cluster **** in the final game isn't enough to make me hate the entire Franchise ME and ME2 were good ME3 flopped on the enging.

I finally got over my disagreements with the fanbase so now I'm feeling better than ever, still love hokuto shinkening people in multiplayer.

After the very anti-climatic and middle finger “artistic” salute of an ending we got for Mass Effect 3? Hell yea I regret it. I should have stopped at the first game so I wouldn’t have gotten into the story and characters so much and be so disappointed in the ending.
This is what we have been waiting for all these years, to see this crapzillia of an ending?
I expected a lot better for sure, I cant even play ME3 now because of the ending. Even interest in the multiplayer “beta” game is getting old.

Most of ME3 feels unfinished or wrong. I dont regret investing in ME1 and 2 but I wish I never bought ME3.

I'm amazed though... as much as I know the ending is important, I'm amazed that even a poorly done ending causes so much animosity from certain sectors of the fanbase.
Even as someone whose spent probably 1000+ hours on the series as a whole (just from the games), even the faulty ending doesn't discourage me in the least.
I do feel for you guys that it did seem to invalidate the entire time, but remember, its not ALWAYS about the ending, sure its as important as the beginning and middle, but dont forget the enjoyment you had during the journey too, thats a majority of any experience.
Heck even ME3 wasn't bad up until the final 5-10 minutes, so you shouldnt let that ruin it for you. Just think back too all that you enjoyed and you'll be fine.

no after the initial shock and horror at that abortion wore off ME1 and ME2 are still great games. I just pretend ME3 does not exist.

No one ever heard the journery is greater then the destination apperently

No I have, but unless you get to the destination and thats it, game over, You're still on the journey are you not?
I mean heck is not the point of a game to enjoy it and the story as you go along? If all thats important to you is the destination and the ending... may as well just skip ahead and forget the interim right? Nevermind the experience or any of that jazz?

Nope. I won't let 15 minutes of gameplay keep me from enjoying the rest of the series.

Absolutely not. I really can't relate to anyone feeling "duped and used." Did you not have ANY fun leading up to the ending? I certainly don't like the endings to the trilogy, but there were so many good moments (even in the third game alone) that made the hours spent playing worth it.
Endings matter quite a bit, but they aren't everything. Ever hear of the phrase, "it's the journey, not the destination"?

My mind is starting to become an encyclopedia of (excess) ME lore, as it was with Skyrim and Dragon Age. However, I regret nothing. The 90% of ME1/2/3 that was awesome is what I remember ME for and still play it for, not that the ending is 10%, but there was some missions that felt cut short in ME3.

Never.
Mass Effect (the series) was a truly revolutionary, eye-opening experience for me, not just in gaming but in literature, characterization and in scope and scale of the universe. I feel like this truly has the potential to be the Star Wars of this generation once the ending kerfuffle has been cleaned up.
