like Mass Effect 2. Not only that they should bring back the movement from ME2 because it was brilliant, and in ME3 it was just crappy, but also the whole atmosphere. It was all just darker, and there was no GO AND SAVE THE WORLD, HURRY feeling and pressure. In ME1 and ME3 i felt i was running out of time the whole time i was playing these games. Pretty much like Dragon Age: Origins.
Im not saying those are bad games, infact those are the best games i have ever played because they made me think about them for many many hours after i finished them. But im saying that there has been enough of "epic and save the world" storylines. Mass Effect 2 just had an enemy that was abducting human colonies, it wasnt a big deal. You couldnt know when they would strike so you could do much more than just go after them. Explore Illium, Omega, Tuchanka etc.
And Dragon Age 2 (yes, the story is 3 times shorter than origins, yes, the mechanics are ****ed up, yes, the enemies rain down from the skies) is more about human wickedness. If you can see it, they all represent certain groups in human society, both dwarves and elves. And Meredith is the main antagonist here. So yes, I liked the story very much, because i wasnt saving the world, but actually discovering and making right all sorts of bad things going on in a certain city. Just like you do with the galaxy in ME2.
So please, cut the "save the world" crap. Im also hoping you wont screw up DA3. The story should be more like preventing the mage - templar war, seeking the champion and the warden, traveling across the continent... and make it 50hrs again. And next ME for like 30hrs atleast.
I think that the next Mass Effect should be...

I think Bioware should try something new, while still remaining true to the ME mechanics we know nad love. I won't go into detail, I did post in the space combat thread about how I would like to see the next ME game.
The "hypothetical dragon age game" set "somewhere... french" is going to address the three issues, including what you mentioned -- even the first DA2 story DLC did --, map reuse and lack of real choices -- as well as a compromize between DA2 and DA:O in terms of party member armors.

There is what I think....
Nobody should be buying any EA products if their going to endorse lying and not completing products before release. Then making players pay to get key points from games or to pay for their product they didn't complete in time.
Others companies are going to follow their lead if you let them do it. Be a good consumer. Complain and do not buy their products. Rent, buy pre-played or borrow games that you must absolutely play. Make them hurt and listen.
