I've posted on quite a few occassion about how myself like many others have been unable to play 'From Ashes' and gain access to other DLC because of the issue with the EA servers.

Well I'd pretty much given up ever being able to play the DLC, but having not played Mass Effect 3 for a while, I thought I try the simplest thing, play the game offline. I had to go competely through the Mars mission and then speak to the Council on the Citadel, but once I returned to the normandy, I checked my terminal and there was a message regarding Eden Prime which was then added to my journal. Also my preorder bonus content has now become available as well.

So that was all I had to do.

Surely someone at EA or Bioware could have figured this out and let the thousands of PC players who have been frustrated with this issue for so long, but hey it worked.

I know with any solution regarding this issue it has not worked for everyone, but for those who still have this problem, try it and hopefully it will work for you too.

(Note: I disconnected my internet connection before I launched Mass Effect 3 in Origin)
