I'm finding it difficult to represent these arrows in still image form because they're primarily animated textures and emitters, but hopefully they give a general idea of what I threw together for this month's challenge, and how the arrows have impact emitters for shininess. I'm going to alter the Sonic one a bit but I'm fairly happy with the rest. (The image is slightly huge, sorry about that. :P)

Although I seem to recall saying I was going to make something less glowy. That... didn't work. I got, er... distracted. By glowing.

Wow really nice, they look like a lot of work indeed, but def worth the effort imo :)

(as a random idea, perhaps one could be a rocket arrow with sparks/smoke? or other stuff strapped to arrows like in Thief Dark Project, that could be activated onhit, like a scroll, bag or via, or are u limited to only the standard 5 vfx? if so, another area were nwn limits need to be hacked:D)

The Sword of Truth: I like the more circular hilt of the one on the card, did you model one like that?

Honestly I do too, i just took an existing one and stretched and wrapped the bottom around it to replace missing middle hilt, trying to keep polys low :D

Now that i got it working, I'll see about getting it closer to the concept art for sure...

[Edit] BTW, It's actually the "Sword of War and Peace"...

Now the "Sword of 1000 Truths" would be EPIC! (and require eye emitters, and a glowing gem for sure...)

God damn it, the only problem was that the c should have been a C. Picky server. Link is fixed. Wayne's World reference kudos. Over.

@_Six: Your dwarven swords are astonish. Please forgive me for interfering in your creativity; but for me what, those are broken in the back piece is very annoying. That the blades are broken in the front is nice and logical; But the back piece should be strong enough to hold the blade....

now that somebody pointed it out, all I can see when I look at those cleavers is the notched back.

Well, I don't know. I thought it looked better when the back part wasn't just a plain square block. I can easily close it up if it's completely illogical (I don't use giant weapons frequently enough to be an expert, to be honest).

It's just an oar i didn't have any one in mid; it coul be from Musashi, Charon, or just from a commoner ferryman...
