I just came across this in my junk and am cross posting it here and on the Head-Thread:

But here's a new monster while I'm at it--it's a demon with a body like a man and the head of a stag. Entwined in its antlers are candles made from (something gruesome) its weapon is a long thin brass staff with an ever burning candle at either end. They generally wear long white robes.


The staff is the relevant item here. It seems a thin brass cylinder would be a waste and completely fail to sell the candles, so instead of a simple primitive, a lathed (spin in blender) profile for a decorative brass candlestick, but stretched thin. then attach simple candle flickers to the ends (I would skip elaborate vfx a fire emitter is too bursty for a candle, imo).

A very rough idea atm, but how about elemental monk gloves/bracers?

As a test, took normal hand models and linked them to Weapon Emitters.

With a touch of scripting, one could make more visual versions of Burning Hands/Chill Touch...

They like to crash toolset when you browse them (had to change gender).

So far still can't make sonic or electric hands that dont explode (cause errors).

Just to be on the safe side, will make a demo and erfs with hands preset...

Edit: Probably holdong off on this one till i can fix errors...

I had though what I had finished with this content, but i have change my mind. I was playing to the game "Arcanum Of Steamworks & Magick Obscura" from "Troika games", a little old but very good. And there is some  very nice stuff in this game; so I can't resist to add some of that to NWN.

So here is the Poweraxe from Arcanum + 2 new versions:

Arcanum is a 2d game with graphics like Baldur's Gate, Fallout, Diablo, etc; so I have build this based in the 2d icom of the Poweraxe...

i like the staves but the textures on most things are bah.maybe there just rough skecthed but i dont really see the point in adding differnt textured clubs if theres really nno big difference on them.not worth the resoureces in my opinion.its sort of getting like cep with bad coloring on things you wont use.IM just intrestsed in downloding and adding it but the less things.......resources the bvetter so clubs would be bah as well.i like the gloves idea though

Well the difference is the clubs are much bigger and have giant spikes :)

Tried different textures (the ones used are bioware textures) but just didn't look right...
