This guy just lierallty sat at the back and did nothing, went AFK, died and got reved until we realised he was trying to get easy credits. You see his name, never play with him but another reason why an in-game kick option would be nice.

I'm guessing you're playing on PC? That information is helpful.

I would of quit by wave 3, if someone has zero points. Even if it hurts the team,
I'm not gonna give leechers credit.

Just quit - all three of you. I know it's aggravating to sacrifice your equipment, but it's totally worth knowing that some dirtbag is going to come back nearly half an hour later and discover that his time was wasted.

I hope u didn't realize that he was leeching till the 10th wave :) I hate it when a leecher is at play, but sometimes u have no choice but to use him as a strategic decoy :) Or quit the match.

It makes me sad for the human race that there are people like this. I see this happen like 1 in every 12 games or so.

HIS time wasted?....

He doesn't do anything.

I quit when someone goes afk. Even if they do kill something but just stop early in the mission, I leave. I figure that with only two active players they can't finish a Gold match and just move on to the next game.

I also tend to leave lobbies when I see someone with junk weapons and no/cheap equipment. Even if they're active, there's no guarantee that they're worth your time and equipment.

To be honest, I can't see how in-game vote kicking fixes anything. Especially with the mob mentality that lobby kicking already has. I have played with too many jackasses that vote-kick as soon as someone so much as have a build that doesn't tickle their fancy. If there were some checks and balances perhaps, such as has the player moved, do the have less than a certain number of points based on what wave/difficulty you're on, than sure. Otherwise, there is way too much room for abuse.

you may wanna remove his name off that picture as its against forums rules to name and shame even utter retards like that.

BW/EA dont like people upsetting their paying emo customers even if they are complete and utter wastes of life.

same reasons wow turned crap by not letting party leaders have any actual control of the party they lead/form and eve online for doing a 180 and having whining carebears rule and ruin the entire game.

as soon as a company panders to the masses of paying p*ss taking retards any/every game turns crap and actual fans eventually turn away in disgust.

Away From Keyboard

As in not doing anything and just kind of sitting behind cover.

Only ever ran into one leecher. Then again; I don't play PUG that often.

I hate these low lifes, especially when vangaurds get glitched in an earlier wave and then proceed to camp at the landing zone instead of leaving and let someone else in to help. I can see if he/she started doing it at wave 9 or 10 since he/she worked so hard to get this far and ended up dying during biotic charge.

I have had this happen before but it wold only be one round at most. Or I would quit out if the problem is stil on going. Just putting this out there was there a chance he was just really really really bad? I played a game yesterday on Gold with a player who I think got  less then 1000 points. (deff not more) and he was running around with us the whole game I am pretty sure. Of course some may still consider him a leecher but he was trying!

This is what they COULD do to punish afkers and make it not worth afking:

You only get credits if in every Wave you played until the one you wiped, you did got atleast 1 point.
This means that for every wave you have to shoot, hit, cast a skill even once, to get the credits you win.
This also means that to attempt AFKing you'd have to check if a wave started and do 1 damage, assist, do something at all. AKA it becomes too bloody tedious to come back to the game every 3 mins just to hit someone, so AFKing will be a worthless time waste. Ofc some rednecks will try to do it, but that would be plain retarded.

You're lucky.  I haven't played nearly as much as other people, but I can't count the number of leechers I've encountered on one hand.

Y did you fail? You can solo Gold, you can't beat it with 3 people? xD

I'm kidding. AFK'ers should be executed in public by a firing squad.
