I hope that they will make a reference to the app like "we've already sent some forces ahead who have recovered strange item" lines and getting to meet the people from the comic and facing those other creatures would be cool

This would be fun as hell Especially if you got to have aria as part of your Squad as either a one time member or she joins you after helping her.

P.s. for the guys and girls who like Human Asari couplings I'm sure helping aria get omega back would make aria frendly enough to repay you in the way you all know you want her to. :innocent:

I actually read the comics by darkhorse, and it would be cool, but the problem is Omega isn't JUST being held by people INSIDE Omega, they have an entire stockpile of ships willing to blow Omega to pieces if they don't have it. Sure, you'd be able to take Omega if you could sneak inside, but then somebody would easily warn Cerberus and then BLAM Omega is destoryed, so it would only make sense if you retook it AFTER you kill Kai Leng, because by then Cerberus is more or less useless.

Hopefully the Extended cut DLC will fix the issues most of us had with the ending of ME3.

A retake Omega DLC could run like the collectors base in three parts

Part 1: infiltration
Part 2: fighting to the main area
Part 3: big fight in Afterlife.

Like I stated, in the comics Cerberus has an entire Flotilla of ships ready to bomb Omega outside, both through the Omega 4 relay and literally right around it, so the second you start fighting, the whole place would just be blown up. You would literally have to find some way to get every ship out of there and then probably even shut off the Omega 4 relay and then hope that Cerberus is too proud to go and try to take it back again.
All of that happening is VERY unlikely or Aria would have easily done this already.

True you would have to work out some way to jam comms at the very least to stop Cerberus troops from warning the fleets outside then figure out a way to get them out of the Omega Nebula after you retook Omega itself.

Getting to Omega is the easy part given that the Normandy is a stealth Recon vessel.

I agree that it would be easy to get in...but alas... if you remember when the Normandy tried to sneak up the Geth Ship and Joker said "All they have to do is look out a window..."
The stealth systems works very similarily to the way ours work currently, it only blocks you from the Radar, and with that many Cerberus ships, you would have to find some way to sneak in while they are all gone. Or steal a Cerberus ship, which would mean that you need ex-Cerberus members as allies tha have access to this form of stuff, not just the scientists.

You would still need to get the shuttle through the Relay and close enough to Omega, you would probably need an entire ship.

Also, I would like to point out that I do think it was a great idea to do this, because retaking Omega would be awesome, just no Aria.. please... I hate her enough, and I just want her off the Citadel.

Hmm that could be fun also a two stage mission to take omega back

Stage 1: capturing a Cerberus Dreadnought "if your going to steal a ship make it the biggest"
Stage 2: would be the actual mission to retake omega have to work that one out some.

I'd buy it for sure. Especially if they make Aria a temp squadmate and added Biotic Sphere as a bonus power.

It would be possible if....
  •  You might as well have Aria gang of killers start high jacking every Cerbrus ship.
  • The could try EDI to hack into a ship but Cerbrus would have a layer of firewalls to block EDI from attacking the system.
  • Or Have Aria become a member of the Normandy crew.
  • You can choose to sneak in to Omega.

Nopes, I do not even think it makes any sense. Like Aria stated it does not matter she is sitting if you lose to the Reapers. You are at war, and she is already promise to aid you in the Final battle with the mercs, so why would you care about one planet.

Omega is an asteroid that even in ME2 was loaded with eezo taking back Omega could count towards your war assets.

Plus it would open up the Omega Nebula and the respective star clusters in it meaning more planets and war assets to aquire.

(Still new here haha)

Anyways, how amazing would a Retake Omega DLC be? You would be fighting Cerberus and whatever they have with them (Still havent read the comic that came with my Collectors Edition.) and Aria would be a new squadmate, or at least a temporary squadmate like Anderson but obviously better.

I know the big thing is the Extended Ending DLC, but honestly I could care less since it's expanding on the original, 3 choice ending.

Any thoughts?

Without a reason to finish the game, it would be **** and pointless.

Well, they have to add another hub world sooner or later.

If it was free, and even then I wouldn't be "ecstatic", it would also have to be stand alone, outside the main campaign and have the option to play as one of the N7 team members you've promoted.

But all this would have to be done, after they've fixed the game, coz mine's still broken since the patch.

I always got the impression that an Omega dlc would be multiplayer-centric for some reason, e.g. new map packs, new Blood pack, Eclipse and Blue Suns outfits and weapons for your characters, vorcha characters, etc.

Aria never seemed to give me any impression that her plans would involve you... only that she would have the merc bands help you out afterwards.

Still not having any Omega dlc would be a pretty glaring omission. It'd probably be welcomed by most fans imo.

Sounds like a lot of fun. The only better DLC imo would be actually traveling to the Elcor homeworld to help with the extraction. I was disappointed in the SP that this was only a scanning mission. I want to see those "walking tanks!"
