I was just thinking ME3 needed more sections involving killing waves of Cerberus goons in brown corridors.

I can almost guarentee their is a topic about this already and if their is, link me and I will delete the thread if I can
(Still new here haha)

Anyways, how amazing would a Retake Omega DLC be? You would be fighting Cerberus and whatever they have with them (Still havent read the comic that came with my Collectors Edition.) and Aria would be a new squadmate, or at least a temporary squadmate like Anderson but obviously better.

I know the big thing is the Extended Ending DLC, but honestly I could care less since it's expanding on the original, 3 choice ending.

Any thoughts?

I thought it was obvious they were going to let us take Omega.  My head-canon Shep has already sworn to Aria that he'll clear the way for her takeover.  My head-canon Shep has a big wide smile and a maniacal laugh every time he gets to kill Cerberus for the entire game.  Nothing but embracing eternity gives him more pleasure.  It's even better than Halix.

True you would have to work out some way to jam comms at the very least to stop Cerberus troops from warning the fleets outside then figure out a way to get them out of the Omega Nebula after you retook Omega itself.

Getting to Omega is the easy part given that the Normandy is a stealth Recon vessel.

Would love to see this yes BUT the EC dlc has to fix a few holes first:

- The Normandy is wrecked; how are we getting to Omega again? In what ship?
- Shepard may/may not be dead
- Whether they're blown up or just, "disabled" the Mass Relays are inoperative; how are we getting to Omega? (yes there's standard FTL drives but that would take forever and certainly longer than acceptable for the narrative purposes of an Omega DLC)

BUT!

If Aria's going to be my squadmate for this I want Wrex back as well.  Would love to see those two tear sh!t up and also their reactions upon seeing each other :wizard:

I'd say something like this DLC would happen sometime before the final earth mission maybe right before the attack on the main Cerberus base would be good.

I'd like to see Wrex and Aria together just cause of the theory that Aria is actual Aleena

its a shame Gillian, nick and hendel are dead because they could have been a choice of who to give omega to, the underground or aria. but i still want this dlc a lot.

I'm not interested. I do like how Cerberus is involved but I didn't find Omega itself interesting and I dislike Aria, I have zero interest in helping her. I would pass on it, no matter how good it was.

Retake Omega has LotSB potential. Heck, it might be even better if they add Omega as a hub. It has to be bigger than the ME2 version; make it like a ghetto version of the Citadel.

I'm guessing you will get the option to one-time romance Aria and she'll give you one of the MP powers. Biotic sphere maybe?

There is no tactical value in retaking omega no one in the galaxy care's about it other than aria and no one outside of the terminus care's about her either.

I'd be interested in pretty much any story-centered DLC.

This. Although I think an Omega DLC would be particularly fun to play, and would bridge the gap between ME2 and ME3 well.

Fighting same old Cerberus for 3 hours straight in a slightly new environment that will get boring after the first time to only get 100 useless war assets at the end.Maybe a few weapons from multiplayer.

Retake Omega DLC would only be of any interest to me if we could visit Omega after successfully completing the DLC. Because one thing that ME3 severely lacks is hub worlds. If this is just going to be a mindless shooter mission to help Aria retake Omega and we can never actually go back to Omega again like in ME2 then I think this would be a waste of a DLC.

I don't see how they could NOT do a 'Retake Omega' DLC, it's indirectly connected to the main story, just like the Shadow Broker for ME2. If theirs going to be additional Story DLC, (And how could their not be,) then this really should be one of them.

In ME1 there's a conversation with Wrexx where he talks about a job he had where he was hired by a Volus to kill someone who turned out to be Aleena. He corners her on a space station just as it's about to explode. As it blows up, he thinks she's dead, but instead receives a message... "Better luck next time".

In ME2 you can talk with Aria about her past, and while she's vague about it you do find out that:

- She's had commando training (Aleena was a commando and apparently it's a not very common thing)
- She's done mercenary work (Wrex first met her as a mercenary, when they were both hired to kill the same target one time)
- She refers to her history with Patriarch as, "...not even the first Krogan I've pissed off" (potentially referring to the fight with Wrex aboard the space station)
- After trying to get her to talk about her past she also tells you, "...Better luck next time."

Course if Wrexx is dead in anyone's playthroughs that negates any chance of this meetup ever occurring anyways.

If there's going to be a Omega DLC, it would make the most sense. Or at least at some point after the Citadel coup attempt.

Although I'd still rather play as Aria herself rather than have her as a squadmate. Her squadmates could then be a small assortment of her closest followers or something(Batarian, Krogan, Vorcha, etc)... B)

Thanks for the help. I would like to see this reuinion. My Wrex is alive and kicking and I always supported Aria. Aria as a squadmate would be a formidable addition to the team, especially with Reave and Shieldbubble.
