product key already in use

I hope someone can help me, as I am trying to get this game to run since a few days now.

According to the validation process, I get told that my product key is already in use. I am not sure how this can be, as I am sitting here with my CD case which included this little booklet with my Cd product key. I did install this game when it came out, and finished it. Recently I decided to try it again, but I can't get it to run.

The only difference to before, is a new HD, because the old HD died with the very first installation and all the saves. Even in my bioware account it still shows that the game is registered there and the extra content like the black emporium.

hoping someone will be able to advise

Are you using the same email address you registered the game with here? If not try that.
If you are using the same email address, you're going to have to contact EA Support.

Thank you for the advice, I contacted EA.

They wrote back that I don't need a code for DA Origin, so I had to correct them that the problem was for DA2 as stated in my mail. Another wait for a day.

What's wrong about using the chatline? Their eMail is slower than an average tortoise.

The chatline isn't always supported for every game.

i'm using the same product key with the same email. as before. the game won't start advicing that the key number is in use by someone else
