A new edition with both DLC, bonuses and no protection?

I'd rather wait for a complete HD Collection for the NextBox that includes all three games. Then ME1 would probably have Bring Down The Sky aswell.

Is it at all likely that we will ever get a combined box set of all three games? I was under the impression that Microsoft owns the rights to ME1 and won't allow it to be re-released.

Microsoft owns all rights to the first Mass Effect, it would be entirely up to them.

Same goes for those who want ME1 on PlayStation. I want PlayStation players to play it, but I doubt Microsoft will let go of the rights anytime soon...........

I'm sure they tried and got the cold shoulder from Microsoft, so we had to wait until ME2, otherwise we would have seen ME1 a long time ago...and it seems EA love to make you want to buy either the CE, or standard edition, and pay out for the full price DLC.

ME2...I waited for that to go for dirt, I wasn't expecting the collectors edition to go for $9 when I got it, makes the DLC (that is actually integral to the story) a little less painful to hand over money for.

Microsoft released the Platinum Hits Edition a couple years ago, (2009?) It came with a bonus disc with Bring Down the Sky and some other extras on it. Not exactly what you were talking about, but probably the closest thing to it.
