No it doesnt, the devs stated that the MP directly influences the SP through GR and TMS. So basically, if I promote soldiers in from the MP into the SP you're saying they are imaginary?

Wat?

Lore has no connection.  You can have Geth allies and enemies at the same time in MP, which is impossible in lore. (The Geth are enemies pre-Rannoch and either allies or wiped out afterward; never both both at once)

For that matter, you can only deploy a geth engineer and promote them, but wipe out the geth in single player.

Lore means nothing.

After freeing Legion from the dreadnought and the first Rannoch Mission, doesn't he say pockets of Heretics are stranded around the cosmos?  That sounds like lore to me...

Hey, I personally think that these Phoenix classes are large birds made of elemental fire with the ability to hold conventional guns!

Doesn't that seem more possible?

Why do people want male quarians so much?  You can barely tell the difference. I wouldn't object to them, but I don't see the attraction.

Its nice to be able to have a second build(it would be nice if you could do that for all charchaters), but quarians seem almost like one of the worst cases. I can have 2 different ways of sucking as a quarian engineer.

I seriously doubt they will just be male without any power differences, assuming this rumor is true.

*Sigh* Rob, in the Multiplayer mode you can be asked to kill strategically significant HUSKS in a time cap. Lore enough?

MP is a dumb horde mode. I'd care if the very gameplay was smart, like "Assault" objectives in UT.

a Husk who could have been a important Alliance unit (Like a General, Colonel..etc..)I think this as been discussed to death...

didn't know it was, but Reaper forces bear no significance, since they are just brainless zombies. Indoctrinaton, etc.

Strategically significant geth hardware. Strategically significant guy holding a shield. Cerberus having at least million space ninjas.

I know some can convince themselves that MP and SP lore interfere, but they don't.

So go team Phoenix! FOOOOR TUCHANKAAA!!!!!

I'm not trolling but really asking, when did it specifically say Reapers couldn't make a Prothean Reaper. I know they turned them into Collectors but I don't remeber the game saying the Reapers failed at that. Thought it was just speculation.

EDI says so right before the fight with the Baby Reaper in ME2.  Its not even implied, its stated point-blank at face value.

stysiaq wrote...

Rob, MP ignores the lore, don't waste your nerves on this one. MP needs to be fun to play, and by the simplest logic more different character models with funny heads = more fun.

Not true, but I don't need to argue this point any further because this has been answered time and again.  Anyone who disagrees is just ignoring developer statements at this point.  Nothing currently in the MP breaks the lore.  Geth fighting Geth is valid, having Krogans fighting alongside Salarians is valid, having 4 Krogan Battlemasters is unlikely but still valid.

Having ANY Protheans is not valid.

NOD-INFORMER37 wrote...

Maybe Bioware should release a map that focuses on the Prothean homeworld(the one in the flashbacks Shepard had in From Ashes).

If you paid attention, which its obvious that you didn't, that wasn't the Prothean homeworld.  That was Eden Prime 50,000 years ago.  Hence why Javik goes to sleep in his pod and wakes up on Eden Prime.  He didn't enter his pod on their homeworld and then wake up on a different planet.

Not to mention the fact that Javik states that they had lost the Prothean homeworld early in the war.

Has the intelligence level on these forums really dropped this much?  Its really getting absurd at this point.

Why does it say "6 new classes", then the bullet points say "4 new classes".

in regards to protheans, if javik was still alive and intact don't you think that maybe just maybe there could be some others who surivied in stasis in the entire prothean empire.

By that logic, what about the players who never made peace with the Quarians and Geth?

All you are arguing here is, at "worst," BioWare has established that outcome as canon. That's a far cry from protheans out of nowhere. Again, I'm in the camp that will welcome protheans, reluctantly, so long as they're given a proper reason for existing (NOT more hide and seek nonsense, i.e. Javik and Ilos, who just happened to be overlooked by the reapers... I cannot accept that premise a THIRD time, potentially about an entire colony full of protheans, given that the reapers are supposed to be good at ONE thing, exterminating all life)... but I can understand those who are against them altogether, and I'm totally baffled by people who continue to say MP is outside the boundary of the lore.

The whole fiction that we're working with here, guys, is that you're creating a (named) operative, they're going out, making a name for themselves helping the galaxy against current foes, and then they become a war asset in SP after they've become BA enough to lend a hand. Repeat ad nauseum. SP and MP are not distinct, separate entities like they are in most games. This is not my opinion. This was by design.

also in regards to whether it's fake or not, there was apprently a tweet about it that was quickly removed from and by bioware.

If that was the case you'd think they'd have mentioned it in the campaign. Instead of having javik say.

"Oh yeah guys, I'm the last one."

Thousands of Justicars. Again, strategically significant Marauders/Cannibals/Husks. Fighting Cerberus on Mynae (clearly a map with Reaper enemies in mind)

You keep telling yourself.

I think that was in 2.

In ME2 he implies that it may take some time for the patch to distribute to all the heretics.  But there are no heretics in ME3. They either got blown up or re-written. He pretty much says all the geth were at Rannock trying to being their central server/dyson concensus sphere(that the quarians blew up).

It's pretty clear that if you choose to wipe them out...they are gone.

Samara just says Justicars are rare, usually loners. In a Galaxy containg Several BILLION Asari, Thousands of Justicars is plausible.

And javik is linked to all the rest of his people through the Memory Shard. well, his peoples memories, because they are all dead.

Javik sacrificied the other pods for him to survive.

We live in 2012 our world is swarmed with fallout shelters, do you think an advanced space civilisation would have only one cryo sleep chamber on only 1 planet, hell no. If there are 2 protheans who did THE Same as javik then bye bye to your lore

As well Mordin Solus is on board during THE SP all hè has to do is take a DNA sample of javik, sent it to the homeworld and boom! A bloody krogan could clone, THE salarians with way better technology can do it way faster.
