Leaked Rebellion DLC Info

But what if the "explanation" will be a single paragraph on ME3 official website, like Hackett informing you that they managed to un-freeze several Protheans from an Ilos-like facility? Because don't expect any SP content including such scene.
turn your brains off for playing MP, or just save your rage for the moment when Protheans in MP DLC will be a fact, not a made up leak.
Also, if you ever shot down a strategically significant Husk, you literally broke the lore yourself. ;-)

Also that Husk happened to have been my brother's wife's uncle's cousin's butler's best friend. So damn right is it startegically significant! Why? Because- Uh....

If I have univerals thermal clips that are used by every race in the damn galaxy including Geth, Batarians and Reapers....how come I can run out of them for 1 weapon and not the other? Why can't I use the UNIVERSAL clips from my SMG with my assault rifile?

Except Mordin is probably pretty busy with curing the genophage, and Protheans would probably be pretty difficult to clone especially with the reaper war and there is no point to cloning them since they would know nothing.Wesus wrote...
Javik sacrificied the other pods for him to survive.
We live in 2012 our world is swarmed with fallout shelters, do you think an advanced space civilisation would have only one cryo sleep chamber on only 1 planet, hell no. If there are 2 protheans who did THE Same as javik then bye bye to your lore
As well Mordin Solus is on board during THE SP all hè has to do is take a DNA sample of javik, sent it to the homeworld and boom! A bloody krogan could clone, THE salarians with way better technology can do it way faster.

Who would even want to play as a Vorcha?
That is a possibilty.
We noticed that some organics on this forum get the same amount of intelligence than Vorchas.

The make several in-game referances to other planets with chambers, and how they all failed.
I just don't see the salarians doing that. Heck, Kirrahe thought Javik was a modified turian or Drell. True, there is that one salarian on the citadel that needs a foosil to clone Krogan mounts, but a whole army made up of a sentient, telepathic species? Cloned during the games timeframe to fight the reapers?
This isn't Star Wars: The Clone Wars people, this is Mass Effect.

Thousands of Justicars.
MP doesn't break lore argument over.
the amount of denial in the community is overwhelming.
Samara clearly indicates, that a Justicar order is very low in number, but youre free to fool yourself further, its your choice and "MP DOESNT BREAK LORE LALALALAALA DONT HEAR YOU" talk, not mine.
also, address the rest of my doubts, would you? Or are you just to busy killing enemy husks of interest ? We got lucky they got deployed!

Mordin busy? Hè can take 1 minute for a simple DNA sample. We live in 2012 and we can clone off bloody DNA samples. You gonna tell me advanced alien races can't?
Artistic Integrity.
But yeah it wouldn't be hard to get a DNA sample, the question is: Would Javik let him? Would Mordin do it? Is it morally just to create a sentient species for the purpose of war? How would they be educated? By Javik's stone? That wouldn't end well given that 'there is only pain it' and no knowledge. They could find one, but-
Really, it'd just be better to have found other caches of Protheans than to clone.

Following contingency planning, Vigil began cutting power to the pods of non-essential staff to conserve energy. When the Reapers finally withdrew through the Citadel relay, only the top researchers — a dozen individuals — were left. Vigil woke them, and the scientists pieced together what had happened.
They soon realised the situation was dire. Without sufficient numbers to sustain a viable population, the Prothean species was doomed. Desperate for contact with others of their kind, a carefully-coded signal was sent to the beacons on other planets. Though it was unlikely there were other survivors, the scientists thought it was worth the risk to try reaching them. The signal not only contained a warning of the Reaper invasion, but a description of Ilos itself, to give them hope.
The surviving Prothean scientists knew that rescue was unlikely. Instead, they chose to protect the races they had been studying, spared destruction due to their lack of advancement, and began working out where the Reapers had come from, and how. After decades of study, they worked out the connection between the Reapers, the Citadel, and the keepers, and discovered a way to interfere with the signal that compels the keepers to activate the Citadel relay. Using the Conduit, the Prothean scientists left Ilos, travelled to the Citadel and altered this signal. Their intention was to prevent the Reapers from opening the Citadel relay again, and trap them in dark space, but they had no way to be certain their plan had succeeded. The fate of these Prothean scientists is unknown. As the Conduit portal only links one way and there was no food or water left on the Citadel, Vigil hypothesized they eventually starved to death.
So there could be Protheans somewhere after all. This could be the loophole that explains having more Protheans.

WTF is a "phoenix" class anyway?
I have a mind to think Turian Cabals.
Turian Cabals are specialized and very segregated units consisting entirely of biotic-capable turians. Very rare.
Since turians are considered 'avian', and the classes related to it are Adept and Vanguard. . . Seems to make sense.

How they all failed, the bloody chamber where javik was found was told to "failed" as well...
The plan itself failed due to indoctrinated agents. The supposed million turned into a small handful, ending with only Javik left. So Javik's cache failed even though he lived. Others could have survived, we don't know how many the Protheans tried to hide...Never put your eggs into one basket, you know?

A phoenix bursts into flames at the end of it's life only to be reborn from the ashes.
The protheans were wiped out in a hellish war with the reapers. Could be them 'Rising From the Ashes.'
Javik's DLC is called "From Ashes" after all.

To be fair, and this is how I've always imagined it, if a famous human was husk'd, I could see the value in wanting to see it put down. Morale and whatnot. Again, plausible expalanations are possible. Protheans falling out the sky are not. (and I already stated why that hypothetical involving another Ilos facility is artistically bankrupt...)stysiaq wrote...

As far as the justicar thing, really? Getting obsessive compulsive about the statistical realities of hosting a multiplayer mode is still nothing like protheans coming out of nowhere when their existence has been explicitly precluded by the lore.
EDIT: Just saw TheJester000's post. That is an interesting possibility, as their fate was never dealt with clearly. Clever theories working within the lore are a pleasure to read.

While both of our ideas are based entirely on speculation, I consider turian Cabal units to be far more likely than a suddenly convenient 'cache of totally not dead' protheans, mostly because they, you know, exist in the galaxy as is.

Oh yeah, and about the Justicar thing, Remember the side quest where you find the book containing the Justicar Code? And how the Asari then distribute it to their forces as additional training?
BOOM.
BOOM indeed. watch the video I linked. Samara talks about taking the Justicar way as something that requires sacrifice and can get you killed, so it is extremly unpopular. Reading a book is not full justicar training, besides what kind of training would it be if you just have to read one book?
Reading bushido code doesn't make you instasamurai. If you prefer to think otherwise - your choice.
I sacrifice far less intelligence by embracing the fact that MP ignores lore.
