I have a mind to think Turian Cabals.

Turian Cabals are specialized and very segregated units consisting entirely of biotic-capable turians. Very rare.

Since turians are considered 'avian', and the classes related to it are Adept and Vanguard. . . Seems to make sense.

A phoenix bursts into flames at the end of it's life only to be reborn from the ashes.

The protheans were wiped out in a hellish war with the reapers. Could be them 'Rising From the Ashes.'

Javik's DLC is called "From Ashes" after all. :happy:

While both of our ideas are based entirely on speculation, I consider turian Cabal units to be far more likely than a suddenly convenient 'cache of totally not dead' protheans, mostly because they, you know, exist in the galaxy as is.

I agree, though the Turian Sentinel is currently of 'Cabal' category. Your avian appearance logic is a bit flawed as is my own about mythological creatures. We'll see what happens when it happens. Until then eat a bagel, they are delicious.

I really hope the Quarian infil and engi are misprints or typos or something and what they really wanted to write was Turian. Would make sense and come on, **** the Quarian males. Are they really THAT sought after? :S

Oh and the Phoenix class, probably Prothean but I have a feeling it could be a new race. Considering the fact that BioWare has created an entire new race for a DLC before, it wouldn't be impossible now. Obviously this is a stretch, it's with all probability Protheans but you never know. Besides, BioWare has mentioned before that they want to make new races.

Anyways, can't wait for the official confirmation!

so because you can get ammo for your kischock harpoon rifle from a thermal clip... that makes it totally logical that the salarians would start cloning armies of a species they dont fully understand and which absorbs other species into their empire... makes sense

Lore has no connection.  You can have Geth allies and enemies at the same time in MP, which is impossible in lore. (The Geth are enemies pre-Rannoch and either allies or wiped out afterward; never both both at once)

For that matter, you can only deploy a geth engineer and promote them, but wipe out the geth in single player.

Lore means nothing.

After freeing Legion from the dreadnought and the first Rannoch Mission, doesn't he say pockets of Heretics are stranded around the cosmos?  That sounds like lore to me...

I think that was in 2.


In ME2 he implies that it may take some time for the patch to distribute to all the heretics.  But there are no heretics in ME3. They either got blown up or re-written. He pretty much says all the geth were at Rannock trying to being their central server/dyson concensus sphere(that the quarians blew up).

It's pretty clear that if you choose to wipe them out...they are gone.

No , one of the admirals mention pockets of geth still under reaper control across the universe , but that most geth are now sentient.. in ME3

Yeah, so many people posted while I did, most missed my post. It could explain more Protheans by using the lore instead of breaking it.

lol, you got me there. btw, most of significant targets are not regular husks anyway, but any 'significant' reaperised units are lorebreaking. Just as the geth platforms.

As far as the justicar thing, really? Getting obsessive compulsive about the statistical realities of hosting a multiplayer mode is still nothing like protheans coming out of nowhere when their existence has been explicitly precluded by the lore.

I strongly doubt that their existence wouldn't be at least explained via website. And why are you attacking a 'statistic' argument, if these are the same statistics, that would bother you regarding Protheans? And why are people defending the justicar count ALSO with statistics (there are X billion asari, few thousand justicars seems legit, Samara lied)

You will see 4 Protheans at a time at most. If there would be 1 Prothean per match, you could always tell yourself its Javik. Of, if the rumour is true.

If you paid attention, which its obvious that you didn't, that wasn't the Prothean homeworld.  That was Eden Prime 50,000 years ago.  Hence why Javik goes to sleep in his pod and wakes up on Eden Prime.  He didn't enter his pod on their homeworld and then wake up on a different planet.  

Not to mention the fact that Javik states that they had lost the Prothean homeworld early in the war.

Has the intelligence level on these forums really dropped this much?  Its really getting absurd at this point.

I was paying attention to the game thank you very much, the fact that I called it "Prothean homeworld" instead 'Eden prime" doesnt mean a flippin thing. If you were paying attention(which you obviously werent ^^), my point was that by having a "flashback" map to when the Protheans were fighting the Reapers, it would make sense in having a Prothean MP character. And no, it doesnt have to be Eden Prime btw. It could be any Prothean planet that was under siege.(yes, even the homeworld)  

The only thing absurd here is how obsessed some ppl get with lore, its not healthy.
