I don't know about this. A lot of Biware stuff has been leaked you would figure they would keep secrets more secretive and secure by now. I mean come on Bioware info has basically become open market at this point if it is true.

IIRC, the leak was attributed to EA, not Bioware. Which strikes me as more than likely.

Salarians already got guns and they need to have their tech or they're nothing. I'm talking about defenses (bunkers etc.) because the beam blows it sky-high anyway. The salarians got the stg and their fleet being armed, why would they need money for more weapons. Again your Logic is stupid as hell.

Regarding Javik surviving, keep in mind those pods were supposed to be in the millions, they were supposed to help start a new Prothean empire. The problem is they were attacked beforehand and the pods were never inhabited and only Javik got in or something similar (can't remember all the details =P) and the energy source supposed to support those millions of pods were diverted only to saving Javik's.

Yes I am sure other Protheans tried podding themselves, but their attempts obviously didn't work because they ran out of power or they were reactivated by a lone Prothean who would eventually died tens of thousands of years before ME timeline helplessly.

The scientists on Ilos went into pods after Javik. Its why he didn't know about them or the crucible, it happened after he went into stasis. Why could there not be more Protheans who did the same?

Find my post half way down the page. It could explain how this is possible using lore instead of breaking it. BW has left lots of loopholes in the lore where they could make it work.

Those scientists are long dead. They didn't have the numbers to restart a Prothean colony somewhere, and if they did, then we'd sure as hell have noticed it by now.

Then why didn't they just say for a fact that they died instead of hypothesised what happened to them? So maybe BW could write there way out of it?

BECAUSE THEY ARE PREPARING TO FIGHT THE REAPERS?

Your logic is stupid as hell. Why would they not get more guns, more defense systems, arm their fleets with Thanix Cannons and shizz.

Even then, why wouldn't they pool the resources to the crucible?

I answered partially in the other post. And I answered the last question. More Protheans surely did, but they probably awakened tens of thousands of years ago, or ran out of energy to support their pods. Evidence being we've haven't encountered them yet.

They did. The Vigil said they probably starved to death which makes perfect sense. Keepers took out all food in the Citadel for the next cycle.

The scientists didn't have the numbers to start a Prothean colony. Evidence being we didn't know about them until Ilos.

I thought the only reason they ran out of power (in Javiks case) was that it had been sabotaged by indoctrinated Protheans.

Just because we haven't encountered them doesn't mean anything, its all speculation. Space is a big place and there could definately be more Protheans out there. There's lots of ways BW could write them in using lore, so its very feasible that they could be in MP.

True, but it's more interesting to me that they were some of the best and brightest prothean scientists (as I recall). That already leaves open the possibility of some outrageous technobabble culminating in some seemingly absurd yet undeniably plausible sci-fi device that allows for the otherwise impossible. It is, at the very least, a vastly superior starting point when compared to "oh hey guys we found another ilos and somehow this facility managed to work not only all this time but for like millions of protheans crazy right yeah I know! dig in!"

I hope the Phoenix means Prothean! I was talking with some guys in a match about new character types and we came up with those + Turian Infiltrator, Batarian Engineer, and Geth Soldier. Couldn't think up a new sentinel class though.

Vorcha sounds alright. I just hope they aren't murder on the ears.

Memory shard refers to as the prothean brain meaning it has to contain cells to store memory in...

Biology from 1st year of high school, still hard for some.

Except this is science fiction not the real world and Javik says memory is stored in everything and then goes on to infer things about the room he is in and the metal which the room is made from doesn't have cells.

Ah yes I remember now.

They weren't sabotaged by indoctrinated Protheans. They were betrayed and their location was given to the Reapers by indoctrinated Protheans, and they were attacked pre-emptively before they 'evacuated' into the pods.

So your saying all credits should go to bullocks like weapons which they can make, they are salarian making their costs lower and if they sell them with profit. So basicly you're saying :we can't clone protheans because we got enough money but we can't invest it into Assets but we need weapons since they are worth more than soldiers.

Seems legit.....

True. We have Space Magic after all.

Say the Prothean Scientists started eating the organic Keepers to stay alive, and built a time machine that could only go into the future, and popped up and brought Shepard to the Citadel back in 2183 to warn them about the reapers and start working on the crucible right away.

Wait, still doesn't explain Protheans in MP. :pinched:

Quack123 your logics are so bad just so bad, if he would have had memory shards made out of something else than cells hè would've never been born, à rock or metal can't grow inside a female.

You got a batarian as pic explains why your IQ is so low.

EXACTLY! Thanks Wesus for finally thinking straight.

With the sudden influx of soldiers from around the galaxy, we are going to need to arm them. Even in Sur'Kesh alone with what is happening around the galaxy, they probably are arming and training salarian citizens as soldiers to fight the reaper invasion.

Failing that, they are sponsering the crucible.

Fine. :(

What will the Prothean scientists do? Their numbers are very few and they can't establish a colony with those numbers. Assuming Prothean society isn't sexist and there are scientists of both sexes anyway.
