Would prefer gender toggle for all classes (except Asari obvs) over a class I'll never use to be honest. Dude Quarians'd need a god tier ability like firing antibiotic juices out of their ass to heal the team to get me interested.

I lol'd

And that image is somewhat pleasing.

I love the MP, but I don't want implemented race just because they think it's cool. I want them still to be in harmony with the SP Campaign....
So if they can explain where the other Protheans come from, I'm all for it.

You know what I mean?

I'm a girl so I'm content with playing the female quarians, but I'm happy that ya'll will finally get your boy ones. I'm still hoping for female turians myself, sigh.

Nothing in this particularly interests me except maybe the two maps (and the Prothean? adept), but there's no way in Tartarus I'd shell out $10 US for a multiplayer DLC, or even $5. :o

Yeah its really annoying seeing people up in arms about male quarians just because they specifically didn't want it?  Many people wanted them like me!  And yes male quarians looks very different from females, they only for 2 toes vs. female 3, wide shoulders, no hips etc.

Read pages 17 through 19 of this thread. There's a huge discussion scattered throughout of how there can logically be Protheans without breaking lore.

I can make up my own Story. The thing is, I want BW to give me an explenation for Prothean troops and not just implement them, because it's cool to play them in the MP.
The MP is optional, but the MP is still connected to the SP Campaign, not like other MP.

Shouldn't be so hard to make up a little Story for them or is it?

Why would Bioware include Male Quarians of the same class but with different abilities?

How do Male Quarians differ from their female counterparts, exactly?

That's really a question you should ask your parents. They'll tell you when you're old enough.

Seriously, I didn't expect to see that bull**** but I skipped reading the thread once people started bawwing about there being male Quarians, I WANTED THEM and instead I got two females, it was disappointing. Also female Turians don't fight so that would be a massive lore failure if they were included, unless they break lore her own request will go unrequited.

I have to say there better be some kind of in depth [?] explanation if the "Phoenix" are actually Prothean(from the ashes as others have said), it's a huge lore fail if it isn't explained somehow. I love new maps especially considering the two new maps are much more interesting than the launch maps and prettier, new weapons interest me as well, and Vorcha - meh, still haven't even gotten a Batarian so we'll see if I like it.

The fix to packs is significant, much more so than anything else in the DLC, if it isn't pay then it's good to know amidst the silence they are listening to our cries.

But that can't be right, it would make that "reach and flexibility" story from Garrus in ME2 make no sense at all.

Wrong. Female Turians go through military service just like any other Turian citizen, Flexibility, man, Flexibility.

I just have the theory that they look exactly like males, despite what some lame comics may have led you to think.

Actually they do, they train and fight with the men. The only reason we don't see any is because BW hasn't made them (for whatever reason).

I realize you've been told quite a few times already about this, but I can't resist.

Female Turians are as present in the Turian military as the males are. The only reason you don't see any in the game is because Bioware simply didn't know how to design them - or that is what they said anyway, I think they just didn't add them because if a girl doesn't have ******, then dudegamers apparently don't appreciate them or something.

Here is also a link to a Mass Effect tweet which basically informs us that Turian women and men look the same. It is called lack of sexual dimorphism, and is present in a whole lot of creatures here on Earth as well.

Basically, all they would have to do to add female Turians into the game is to get a female voice actor for them, so that we could at least sort of tell them apart.

Well that isn't quite true, they have a few different features, like the spikes Garrus has on the back of his head, female Turians don't have that (the crown).

If it is real, it sounds a lot like Resurgence, so will probably be free.

Actually the 'bald thing' from that comic has been proven to be something the artist made up in design way.

I can't find the link for the article, but yes, she is not canon.

Which is good, because the collar, the neck plating and the fringe on turians is a radiation protection, not a gender thing.

I'm going to go on a hunch and at least place my bets on true. Maybe true? Seems likely.

Phoenix Prothean theories abound.

Plus: Are we going to have to pay this time around? Free DLC should boost the micro transactions, which is all EA should want. Buying DLC then having to play ages to unlock it just doesn't work.
