I found this thread a few hours ago. It's from three weeks ago, well before this current leak:

I've been playing around and found interesting strings in game.

BioP_MPGeth
BioP_MPMoon

BioP_MPJngl

BioP_MPRail

First two Hydra and Condor maps that came with this new DLC, so there should be two more? Anyone have info on this?

Well, this certinately gives quite a bit of credibility to the rumor. Plus the fact that Bioware hasn't posted in this thread. I believe this rumor is true. Male Quarians, Vorcha & Protheans are the only remaining characters with human rigs that can be used for MP anyway except for female Krogans, so it would make sense.

I'm calling out Phoneix (sp) class as Prothean, its gotta be. Adept and Vanguard? only 2 that could work. And the Jungle map- Why not Shur'kesh? I think thats the Salarian world, and its a jungle out there lol.

Male quarian Engineer and Infiltrator better have at least two new powers, if not different class talents/fitness...otherwise they're just gonna be a disappointment

If the leak is true than Phoenix is almost sure to be codename for Protheans agree

Wonder why they'd use a code name, hmmmm.
Even if not on the list, I STILL want a Turian and Drell Infiltrator...but an Adept Prothean will certainly have me playing as someone else becides the Geth Engineer lol

I don't know if it has been asked but could it be collectors who somehow break free of indoc since they are technically Prothean?

Sounds good... if it's true. I was hoping we could get jungle map sometime. Would be awesome to do a little guerilla attacks against Reaper/Cerberus/Geth forces.

Am I the only one who doesn't want playable Protheans in MP? It'd really take away Javik's 'uniqueness' if it turns out there's a whole bunch of them playing at space-SAS, IMHO.

In my book, ex-Cerberus player characters trump Prothean player characters any day.

Sur'Kesh would be the most ideal location for a Jungle Map, IMO.. Though, if they pulled it from the campaign, it would end up being the science facility that you go to get Eve from.
Thessia's place is more than likely a modified Temple area. Firebase Goddess? Religious ties, plus that being the main area you went to in the Campaign.. It's a pretty decent bet.
Railway?.. I didn't see that in the OP, but that would be interesting to see, I suppose. Saw a 'string' of some sort, from another thread.
Firebase London and Firebase Vancouver would be perfect additions to the game. I enjoyed playing in London, in SP.. and Vancouver was bright and cheery, while London was dark and heavy. Perfect set up!
As for Vorcha.. I honestly wasn't a big fan of them, so.. Cool and all, but just like the Batarians, I don't really care for them.
The Phoenix characters are more than likely Prothean though. I'd love to see Prothean MP characters. Though, I'd prefer a Sentinel or Solider over a Vanguard. Adept would be awesome though! Slam, Dark Channel and Singularity would be a good combo for Adept powers, maybe?

As for the Quarian thing, I honestly hope they put Turians instead. A Turian Infiltrator, and a Turian Engineer would be badass!.. or at least the Infiltrator.
Either way, if this is true, I can't wait to see it!

Other additions that would be neat to see is Mercenary enemies, similar to Pirates/Krogan Mercenaries from ME1, and to see some other locales, like the Grissom Academy as a Firebase, or a map like the one in the Tuchanka: Bomb mission.

True, that might ruin the idea of him being the last Prothean.. but at the same time, it would be really cool, would it not? And if Bioware wants to please the fans, I wouldn't put it past them! But, we'll see.
And Ex-Cerberus?.. Why not just play as a Human, then? It's the same thing. What would be different about them?

Don't really care much for Protheans-- Javik was useless as a teammate and only really good at trolling the crew of the Normandy. I'm much more excited about the (alleged) vorcha.

Phoenix? Clearly the graceful rebirth of the Biotic God or the Raloi or Protheans, I guess.

EDIT: Assuming this is true, I hope BW gives the Quarians some better skills, cause they kinda suck now.

The point of indoctrination is that no-one ever broke free for longer than mere moments. Never, ever, ever. Not to mention that, as Mordin points out, collectors don't have anywhere to break free to, since everything is "replaced by [Reaper] tech".

Even Shiala admits that she's still indoctrinated, only overriden by traces of thorian thralldom. "Breaking free of indoctrination" simply doesn't happen.

I agree with this, but found that on Insanity he was a little weak in terms of health. Anyway, back on topic, Protheans would be great for multiplayer.

Has anyone considered the title of the DLC while trying to figure out what these 'Phoenixes' are going to be?

Resurgance pack - the Batarians are coming back to beat the Reapers six ways to Sunday, it's their 'resurgance' after being knocked out of the picture.

Rebellion pack - someone's 'rebelling' against whoever they used to serve? Add in the fact that all but two of Cerberus' units in-game are named after mythological creatures (plus the names of the three facilities in Overlord and the names of the 'hidden' Cerberus equipment in ME1), and I reckon the Pheonixes are going to be ex-Cerberus personnel.

Which means humans that might actually be worth playing! I, for one, would very much like to play as a human in better-looking armour with some neat new abilities. Humans need more love in MP, IMO.

Also, I'll just go ahead and say it. "Phoenix" adept and vanguards? Protheans.

Again with the "checklist of most commonly asked for" characters.

Great because the BSN hasn't ruined ME enough as it is.Image IPB

Male quarians have three toes too, only the third toe is in the inside of the foot (like our big toe), rather then the outside, and unlike the other two it doesn't seem to require physical separation from the others for balace, so it rests next to the second one inside the same envelope...

Well thank you for clearing that up, yeah I only saw the two stubby toe imprints on their shoes and assumed.  But yeah it looks very different from a female :)

Because DC gave him a continual buff, unlike reave. Just cast it first and then let him do his thing.
