Read the first 26, skipped 27, first post there wasn't interesting. Jumped right to 28, then continued forward.

Also, BrotherWarth, you did say that people got Protheans from From Ashes. And that it said so on page one.
Guess what? I just paid a visit to page one, to see if I remembered correctly or not. There was no mention of From Ashes. Maybe they thought it was so crystal clear that it was From Ashes they were connecting it to that they didn't have to spell it out.
No one pointed it out on page one. Not with so many words.

I was just pointing out that BrotherWarth was partly wrong. He said that on page one, people connected it to From Ashes. They probably did, but didn't say so, which it seemed he said that they did.
So he was wrong, and right.
Please, reread what I wrote, and you'll see what I said, and not what you thought I said.

The probability of the last one being true was made less suspect because of the screenshot; it would have either been an exceptionally well done fake, or it had to be true. It seemed unlikely (but not impossible) for someone to make up character cards and do all the art for them.

The problem with the linked leak that makes it especially suspect is that the only thing we have to go off of is text. Anyone can write text that 'looks' somewhat real.

the fact that  there's already Jungle & Thessia map names in the game files & memory loader is strong proof it's real ...I'll bet everyone 1 million credits it's real & will be introduced in May or June around E3 if not earlier

I'm skeptical of this news; it's not a site I'm familiar with, and it doesn't seem to be a widely known outlet. I'd love to see more maps, weapons, and races and classes, though.

Thinking back, there is something oddly coincidental between the title of Javik's DLC and this supposed new race -- the whole phoenix and ashes thing. There's also the fact that Javik was, for a time, in Cerberus hands and that the former Prothean base was essentially a mass grave site for his people. To create lore behind the Phoenix, if they are Protheans or some derivation, perhaps Cerberus recovered enough genetic material from Javik and the Prothean base, attempted to clone the race or develop their own brand of Collectors, failed miserable, and now find themselves being actively engaged by their creations. It fits with the idea of Rebellion.

The Vorcha also fit because of their strong connection to mercenary activity. The idea that the EA representative in question misspoke regarding the Quarian Engineer and Infiltrator, meaning instead to name Turians, also connects to Rebellion, as Garrus had a talent tree called Turian Rebel, if I recall correctly.

Well damn. Now I'm hopeful this sees the light of download.

Dunno why everyone thinks Phoenix refer to the Protheans.

Phoenix reborn from the ashes might fit, but why would the Alliance call them "Phoenix Adept / Vanguard" if they are Protheans? None of the other Races are called by some kind of nickname, why start doing it with the Protheans? Not talking about the "last Prothean" stuff in SP/DLC.


On the other hand we have Cerberus  with Units called Nemesis or Atlas; stations called Cronos, Hermes, Prometheus or Vulcan and project names like Lazarus. Phoenix would fit that pattern. Rebellion as DLC title would obviously fit. Lore would fit - Shepard can recruit in SP a good bunch of former Cerberus operatives. Systems Alliance letting them operate under a special title / nickname would also make sense, who would like to be called and classified as "former Cerberus Adept" - Phoenix Adept would fit better for fighters that left their old life behind and started anew to fight for the good side.  

Therefore I would bet on them being alternative human Adepts and Vanguards.

Unless Phoenix are Prothean clones, made from the DNA of dead Protheans on Ilos. That would make sense, dead Protheans used to create new Protheans.
Like a Phoenix, rising from the ashes. Also, we never found out why The Prothean DLC was called;

This just makes me believe even more that Phoenix is a Prothean. I can definetley see a Prothean Adept (with green Biotics!), but I would've expected a Soldier instead of a Vanguard.

Equally logical. The Turians bear fair few avian features in their design. Plus, it is well known that they have Biotic units known as Cabals. So as possible as the whole Prothean theory is. It could be one or the other, it could be Raloi, it could be a completely new race. We'll probably find out soon...

Plus, this information may still be false, it may be taking advantage of said files in the game to stir up the pot. Again, this is probable, I'd say maybe 60/40 on it being completely true now. The maps definately are, but the characters may be false.

If you browse through the CoocedPCConsole folder, you can find files for all the skills in the game for both singleplayer and multiplayer. What caught my eye was these.

SFXPowerMP_FemQuarPassive.pcc

Javik has Dark Channel/Slam and he is prothean.
Why do they need to name the quarian files with "Fem" if there's no male version?

Just something to speculate about.

bioware have male quarian model, have voice. even no lore problem because we all know that female and male quarians fights.

Eh... I'm skeptical, but I can't help but be hopeful because I would love this, especially if by Quarian Engineer and Infiltrator they meant Male Quarians, something I've wanted since day one. Vorcha and possibly Prothean characters would also be amazing. This would definitely beat the Resurgence DLC for me if it's true.

I'm just going to go ahead and say it's happening. Everyone thought the Resurgence leak was fake because of "Asari Justicar", but it turned out to be true.
Expect male Quarians, maybe Turian Infiltrator and Engineer and PROTHEANS. I am PUMPED for having a Prothean in MP.
