Yeah, its the geth turret rank 6 upgrade, which makes the point you tried to make invalid as the geth ability thats in the game that you meant was "Defense matrix"

Prothean Adept/Vanguard makes more sense than Soldier.

As far as I can tell, every last Prothean is a biotic. Thus they would all be adepts, vanguards, or sentinels.

In my mind there's no doubt that this is legit. Maybe the called the protheans Phoenix to anticipate the inevitable leak. Everything is leaked these days, information just can't be controlled. Rebellion will be released in a months time, Bioware will act like this thread never existed.Looking forward to playing with new characters!

as for the DLC name and Phoenix meaning ex-Cerberus troops - "Resurgence" had little connection to the included classes. Maybe Batarians.

"Rebellion" can be map-related.
besides, additional humans are far less exciting that another species joining the fight with strategically significant husks.

Phoenix doesn't mean ex-Cerberus troops. Where are people getting that from? It makes little to no sense what-so-ever.

Also, Ex-Cerberus doesnt really seem like biotic classes.

Know how Protheans usually have "Avatars" of certain aspects leading their forces/people?

"Phoenix" might refer to the Prothean "Avatars of Rebirth" or something. If this rumour is true, the "Phoenix" class is likely Prothean.

We know from the Resurgence pack that BioWare do listen to the community.... somewhat. So Protheans are very likely.

I can see 2 reasons why some guys think this:
1° The title: "Rebellion" could suggest rogue troops
2° Phoenix comes from Greek/Rome, as most of Cerberus names used on "special" units: Atlas, Centurion, Nemesis, etc.

Personally: It's a waste of time, if the dlc really comes out, there's no point on debating something that we will eventually know.

I hope they mean female turians by the word "phoenix" :/

There are no assets for female Turians. There's pretty much a 0% chance of them making completely new assets just for MP add-ons.

Well, female Turians in the comics look exactly like the males, except for those attenuated head spikes. So they could always create Turian females just through removing the crest things, reskinning, and voice acting.

Javik is a biotic, so all Protheans are biotics?

Either way, this is likely false. Why believe a "leak" such a short time after DLC was already announced?

Bioware already said the comic appearance isn't canon.

....which matters because Multiplayer, in general, is canonical?

Come on.

A Phoenix will always rise from it's ashes a new when they die, DLC titled From Ashes involving Protheans did anyone else notice this connection?
I think this leak is a fake it's been up for 4 days and Bioware hasn't commented on it..

its MP section. Dont use lore here. Prothies are likely because they're cool. Period.

Nope, Phoenix is EGYPTIAN mythology, not Greek/Roman (you're thinking Roc, not phoenix)
