There's always talk of Cerberus defectors. There was a whole tie-in game about Cerberus defectors and we didn't get new MP classes out of it.

If you bothered to talk to the Queen in ME 1, you learn that the Reapers were the reasons that the Rachni attacked in the first place. It makes sense that they'd keep a few queens for themselves and we know that they enjoy experimenting on organic races to make nightmarish weapons.bajsmongo66 wrote...

strategically significant husks are just gameplay mechanics..introducing a new species into the MP that is extinct is lore breaking..unless they make up some rdicolous reason for it...and that would just be dumb.. IMO
What about the artificial Rachni queen (if you killed her in the previous game)? They essentially brought that species back...
Yes and that was also pretty dumb, its like they just assumed everyone would save the queen in ME1 and then made a stupid excuse for it to be a rachni queen even if you killed it in ME1...But i don't see your point? you mean that a bunch of wrongs makes a right?..I'm not saying that they CANT change story and introduce protheans, i'm saying it would be a stupid move lorewise..IMO

This task is an onerous one, and many of you are right to dread contact with these particular foes, but rest assured that we are prepared to reinforce your battalion with reserves. The vorcha want in, and as soon as they complete combined-arms training with our technically-skilled personnel, we will let them loose.
...
Sounds like it could actually happen.

Maybe it's all just kind of coincidence, or the fact that anyone could predict male Quarians and Vorcha (as they're one of the very last models on human rig they can use for MP), but yeah, it all looks very likelyWordlywisewiz wrote...
Qruians and vorcha are confirmed which means the whole leak is confirmed

"Banshees are created from a specific kind of asari that cannot be replaced quickly, so we are diverting forces to focus on an all-out banshee extermination effort."
This implies that they are creating Ardat-Yakshi to turn into Banshees. It even fits into the "rebellion" theme, since they escape the reaper forces, not to mention that they are adepts and vanguards. This pisses me off on many levels if true.

It mentions defecting Cerberus forces, so this Pheonix race seems logical to be cerberus units.
We are raiding Banshees to limit their numbers, and we believe that we're getting a "Goddess" map, fits the bill.
They even say that the vorcha want in, so I'd doubt that they WON'T be in.
Only part is that the news itself bears no confirmation of Quarians, so our "coming soon" might be later than we are hoping for...
HOWEVER: the news itself refers to the Vorcha completing their combined-arms training, along with "technically-skilled personnel", which could be a reference towards the new quarian classes we believe are also completing the training, or it could be referring to the current troops training the vorcha which way to point the barrel and what colour not to shoot.

Well, I know what colours TO shoot, Red, green, and blue.

I wolud prefer vorcha, elcor, volus or prothean.
Male quarians, female turians, female salarians would be great, but it mostly the same.

What powers would a Vorcha have? Gaaaah and Break Fans?
Power 1: ****ing about captain Gavorn- Confuses enemy troops and makes them attack each other
Power 2: Retardedness- like biotic charge, except they run there and aren't invincible.
Power 3: YOU WORK FOR DOCTOR- kills anybody who uses medigel

They have a racial passive that makes them wise to Gavorn's tricks.

Was about to come and post this. Cybernetic Cerberus biotics is more likely imho.
The pack is called "Rebellion" after all. If it's true.

My thoughts are on "Miranda Units". You know, just basically a bunch of characters wearing white and yellow with miranda's skill set. You know, the whole biotic slam and mega-punch.
This could also mean that the weapon to be added could be the illusive cerberus-themed AR that we don't see. We have an SMG, pistol, sniper and shotgun, but no AR. So that's probably there.

Mattock is the cerb AR.

I mean one that correctly follows the theme of the rest of the weapons. Look at the claymore, it's supposedly a Krogan shotgun, but it doesn't follow the "krogan theme" of weapons, same with the widow and the geth. While they do use it, it's not really the correct theme. I mean a white and yellow assault rifle with the cerberus logo on it, if you understand that.
