Not sure if any one has mentioned this, but I have an idea that might back up the Phoenix Prothean theory. When Phoenix's die, they are reborn from ashes, right? And what was Javik's DLC called? That's right, FROM ASHES. Just a thought, it may be a complete coincidence but who knows.

I really wish the OP would come back and edit the first post so it could say right there we covered this .. no offense to you but if you sift through the post you will see somebody says this exact thing every day or two

Yeah, I had kind of thought that. But nonetheless, I do believe this is true, as long as bioware doesn't deny it. That's the way it was with the Resurgance DLC. Plus, bioware also mentioned Vorcha in their Operation Silencer.

Someone speculated phoenix would be a Cerberus Phantom.
While I don't believe that, it would be cool to see some melee weapons in the game. They might not be useful, but it could be great fun.

well it could play like a phantom/drell hybrid
example powers for phoenix adept:
1. Palm Blaster(could be like a quick fire warp, say a 2 second CD, with a lot less base damage but still prime/detonate explosions)
2. Cluster Grenades/Lift Grenades
3. Barrier - for more survivabilty
4. Passive - power damage vs weapon damage
5. Fitness - Decent Health/Shields like regular humans.  Her Melee could be a small version of the katana phantoms have.

also she could flip around and be very fast like the drell

Hopefully they've fixed/changed the packs so that it won't give us class/race cards (?) that we've already fully finished/unlocked. This will be a pain if they haven't cause now its just going to be a smaller chance to get new class unlocks...<_<

Cerberus defectors have verified key intel on Reaper banshees to help provide us a vulnerability to exploit. Banshees are created from a specific kind of asari that cannot be replaced quickly, so we are diverting forces to focus on an all-out banshee extermination effort.

Anybody else notice this?

I thought "Phoenix" was most likely Protheans as many have suggested, but the above lends weight to it being Cerberus defectors instead.

I found that Resurgence characters and weapons had a higher drop rate than normal rares. I completed Asari Justicar and Batarian Soldier before any other characters, and my highest level rare guns are Resurgence guns.  So my worry is that I'll end up getting so many Rebllion characters that I'll never unlock the Drell Vanguard.

i didn't take the time to read through all 40 something pages of this, but on the first page at least people were talking about "new" quarian engineers and infiltrators. some suggested they may be male versions since we already have female versions of those classes. anyone besides me think it could possibly be more female quarians but with different loadouts. like energy drain and drones for example?

I don't really see why ex-Cerberus characters would be called "Phoenix" Adepts or Vanguards. Though the "Phoenix" -> Javik/From Ashes -> Protheans in MP logic is kind of tenuous as well. At least in that case, there is a past incidence of making allusions to a phoenix in the title of Javik's DLC.

Look at the claymore, it's supposedly a Krogan shotgun, but it doesn't follow the "krogan theme" of weapons

While the Claymore is technically a "Krogan Shotgun", it's actually human designed as mentioned in its description:

Very rare krogan shotgun. Deals high damage at short range; less effective at long range. Effective against armor, shields and biotic barriers. It is of human design but is only used by krogan, due to the fact that the kickback from a single shot has enough force to break a human's arm.

Thus why it isn't used as the foundation for the Graal and Striker designs, which are both native Krogan weapons.

Okay well from operation silencer we now know the three races are vorcha, cerberus defectors, and male quarians. Neato

>Vorcha want in
>Cerberus defectors have verified key intel on Reaper banshees to help provide us a vulnerability to exploit.
>Technically skilled comrades = Male Quarian.

Btw Cerberus Defectors can be the ones from Jacob's mission.

this may be coincidence but i'll say it again, when facing cerberus in the SP campaign you sometimes hear random chatter from troopers saying things like "Team Phoenix engage!"  There was even a subtitle saying something along those lines during the sur'kesh mission with phoenix it it.  Man i wish i had a vid captured

Hey guys, I can't be bothered to read a few pages of a thread I respond to and will assume you're all idiots, but has anyone caught on that a PHOENIX arises FROM ASHES?!?!

And what is Javik's DLC called..? FROM ASHES.

I wanted to tell you this very important bit of information which I am sure is totally new to you.

Biggest fail:  Every page has at least one ****** sharing the "revelation" that "From Ashes" and "Phoenix" have the potential for connection.  Here's a gold star for effort -- (*).  Now go rest your brain; maybe tomorrow you can solve world hunger, or at least figure out how to tie your shoes.

I think that fits the top comment of the page, lol

I don't understand the logic of how it could be "ex-cerberus" characters for the "Phoenix" classes coming. What connections are there to those two things? I mean come on, the DLC where you got a Prothean squadmate was called "From Ashes" for christ sake.

Apparently the title of the pack "Rebellion" makes the Phoenix classes ex-Cerberus. Yeah, I don't get it either. And I don't recall Cerberus troops in SP ever chattering about some "Phoenix squad." Not saying it didn't happen, but if someone can link a youtube of it that would at least be something material to go on.

That still follows my point, the Mattock isn't of Cerberus manufacture and it doesn't follow their theme of weapons. So a "Cerberus AR" would be welcome. One that follows the same theme as the other weapons.

Ya, it isn't going to be Cerberus defectors and nice try in just assuming that is it.  If I could bet you 1000$ right now with me taking Protheans and you taking defectors, I'd do it.  Phoenix = Protheans, get over it.
